Hello, Try this.
Press ALT+F10 before windows loading it should prompt you with the recovery steps. If that doesn't work, go with this.

Drivers for Acer products may be found on the Acer support site.
Search for the product and download the drivers.

http://us.acer.com/...

Alternatively, the factory installed drivers and applications can be re-installed by using Acer eRecovery.
Follow these steps:
Click Start and then All Programs
Click Acer and then Acer eRecovery Management
You may be prompted to enter or create a password. This password will be required to use eRecovery in the future.
In the next window, select Restore or Recovery. This will vary from system to system.
Choose Reinstall Drivers or Applications
Choose Contents
Choose the driver or application you wish to install
On the right, click the install link and follow the prompts.
The system may restart when installation is complete. If it does not restart, manually shutdown and restart the computer.

My netbook froze using internet explorer and had to switch off to reboot. Then could not load windows 7 again. rebooted again this time keeps asking to connect reboot device, any suggestions how to c

This problem can be caused by 3 things.
1: Fault Hard Drive.
2: Faulty cables or connection.
3: Faulty motherboard.

As it is a netbook I would recommend taking it to your nearest PC repair shop and asking them to test your HDD and motherboard.

Go to more than one place so that you do not get ripped off.

It may be a content disc. One probably holds your operating system, the other holds your preinstall programs.

My advent 4213 has a problem, it says an error occured while attempting to read the boot configuration data, it is asking me to insert my windows installation disc and restart my computer but there is...

Try this on your own risk ONLY because giving advice on computers without seeing it in person is tough due to the fact that there can be many different reasons that this problem arose.
Start the computer and (depending on the computer) immediately press del, f2, or f3 to go to your cmos settings menu. Search and find the restore all configuration settings. Save and try to reboot. Hope this helps!

ASUS eeePC 900 Keeps rebooting at XP load screen.

You're computer is booting that's not your problem. Its just not booting into Windows which is a different subject, so a boot disk will not do you any good. You have some corrupted files at the Windows end not the start up end. The only way to correct the Windows corrupt files is to use a Windows disc. So you'll have to buy/borrow a portable DVD/CD player and a copy of windows. Once the Windows disc loads then its just a matter of clicking on "repair" when the disc asks..that one of the drawbacks of netbooks..If you have any questions let me know..
