Hi Kalawagan22,

What Adobe Software are you talking about? Most of the latest versions of any adobe software (from adobe flash player to adobe pdf reader) work perfectly with windows 7. Are you having any speciffic issues with any software?

Hope this helped.

Can not get Adobe PhotoDeluxe2.0 to install on windows 7. Worked fine on Vista

Adobe Photo Deluxe is an older program that does not seem to be compatible with Windows 7. you should contact Adobe to see if they have an updated version.

However, you can try the following to see if it will help.
If the program is not compatible, then you may try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
Use the following steps:
1)Right click on the Program
2)Click on Properties
3)Click on Compatibility tab
4)Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or whatever operating system the program was running successfully.
Refer to the link here: Make older programs run in this version of Windows

Compatability with windows 7

Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional is not compatible with Win 7
Adapted from Adobe FAQ

Acrobat 9.2 is the first version to support Windows 7. If you own Acrobat 7 or Acrobat 8, Adobe recommends you upgrade to Acrobat X through your Adobe reseller or the Adobe Store. Upgrading to Acrobat X will ensure compatibility with Windows 7 and access to the latest product enhancements. Enterprise customers with a Gold or Platinum support plan can contact Customer Support for upgrade tips and planning help.

Hope it helps.

I have installed Adobe Acrobat 7 on my laptop that runs on Win 7 platform. However, the installation of Acrobat flashed a warning message that Adobe Acrobat 7 was unable to create a new item: Adobe PDF...

Good Afternoon -
Direct from Adobe, they state that versions 9 and above are compatible with Windows 7, and any versions 8 or prior are not supported and updates to make compatible will not be released. There are two solutions, one that may work and one that will definitely work. The first is to try to install the program under Windows XP compatibilty, natively on Windows 7. To do this, find the executable for installation, right click and select properties. On the comptability tab, click the check box that says: Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows XP (Service Pack #) from the drop down, and proceed to install, running the installer as Administrator. The other guaranteed way is if you have Windows 7 , any version other than starter, you can enable Windows XP Mode which creates a virtual PC of XP on your machine and integrates the program references into Windows 7. Details on this can be found:

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Forget about installing Photoshop CS2 or CS3 or lower versions on Win 7, the software are not compatible with Win 7 OS. Get a newer version CS4 or higher.

You can check it @ Windows 7 Compatibility Center

Hope it helps.
