There are two fans in the refrigerator. One in freezer as well as one is fridge section.Check both the fans are they running. In some cases both fan gets faulty and this causes the problem, and in some cases only one fan stops working.Due to this fans stops working the internal temp gets bit heated and due to this the thermostat beeps and this red and green led blinks. So first thing to be checked is fan. Many a times the fan just stops working, due to frost getting build on the coils in the freezer section. This ice frost blocks the fan blade to spin and this requires defrost to melt the ice. ------------- If there is frost build up then manually defrost this ice.---- The excessive ice build up on the side of the evaporator coil (which is in the back of the freezer compartment behind the rear plastic panel). To defrost the coil, remove all the drawers in the freezer, and the plastic insert by pulling out the bottom of the panel out and rotating it upwards until it released at the top. There are a couple of snap-in tabs holding the panel in, so with a bit of pulling they released. The tabs are either side of the slot at the bottom of the panel.

Then supported the panel horizontally on the top shelf so that you didn't have to disconnect the thermostat wire and the circulating fan wire.
With a small fan heater set on low, aimed roughly at the ice build-up on the left hand side of the evaporator coil, defrosted the ice built up.
----------------- In the user manual it says as follows:---- When the fresh food compartment door is opened a fault code (specific pattern of lights) will flash red and green on the Control panel to alert you to the fault. The audible alarm will stop when any button is pressed but the lights will remain flashing. If such a fault occurs, call your Fisher & Paykel Appliances Authorised Service Centre immediately; the fault code will help the executive to check what is faulty. But check the fan in both sections before calling the service centers. In most cases this fans stops working. ------------- The service center address:---- In Singapore If You Need Assistance...* Please call our Fisher & Paykel Service line. Why does the fuse immediately blow on my power door locks? how to fix this?

You have a short somewhere in the system. Maybe one of the lock actuators or a switch. To test disconnect all locks and switch then replace fuse if don't blow start with driver door and reconnect lock check fuse see if it blew if not reconnect switch active lock check fuse see if ok. Continue with each door separate using same steps until fuse no good you will have found short. Replace shorted part.

Remove the power board from the TV and look at the other side of the board. You should find the burn-out and then trace the printed board for a short.

I have a goodmans microwave. a few weeks ago i opened the door and it blew the fuses. i have changed the fuse in the plug but still no power going to unit, please can u tell me if there is any fuses...

Firstly check the light.

As the light comes on when the door is opened - this could be the cause.

If that's ok, you could open it up to check the condition of the wiring, and that the door interlock is functioning.
As long as you don't damage anything, or remove the magnatron you should be fine.

I don't think there are any other fuses inside this model.

If it's anything else I would not attempt repair.

Double check that all is secure before using again - and turn off BEFORE opening the door each time.

Hello,
I doubt you blew the picture tube. I do think you damaged the main board ( power supply board). First I would suggest you check the fuses, in both the main board and also the convergence board ( there are two main boards in your set ). Before you start, always use caution by unplugging the set from the wall. To check the fuses, remove the bottom panel cover in the back of the set by removing the screws. Use a flashlight and observe all the fuses you can find and see if any are opened or burned out. ( if the fuse is burned out, it will be black, you may not be able to see if the fuse is just opened without using a continuity checker ( volt ohm meter ) ). Any fuses you find open or burned out, replace with a like fuse ( voltage and amperage ). The set should work fine if a fuse is the problem. If the set doesn't have a bad fuse or won't work after replacing a bad fuse, then you will probably have to seek professional help. Good luck. I hope this has helped.
