Hi unfortunately I can not answer your question because you have put it into the wrong category. You have put it under a problem with shoes and since your problem does not necessarily have to do with shoes it probably will not get answered until switched to the proper category. I hope that helps.

Hi I wondered if you noticed that your problem is under the shoe category. Obviously this is not a shoe problem. To get you problem properly answered change it to another category. Then an expert on the right category will see it and be able to answer it. Have a nice day.

How to remove drain pump

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Hi,I got an Ariston Margherita 2000.It does work well, but the end of the cicle the water doesn`t dissapear from drum.I tried everything, but nothing happend. Many thanks. Zsolt

Hi Zsolt!

The problem can have more causes:
1. At the lower part of the machine is a kind of filter for the dirty water. It is possible it need to be cleaned, a lot of stuff can be stucked there. To get to the filter you have to remove the pannel from the front lower part.
2. The used water pump itself can be the problem, then it need to be replaced.
3. The command unit doesn't work properly so the pump for draining the used water does'n start.

It is quite simple to determine if this pump is starting or not, because it makes during running a tipical sound.

Hope it helped.

Regards,
Bogdan

Ariston margherita A1535 advantage overfilling

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven from the flow into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Asko dishwasher 1475 indicates high water level

The "High Water Level" in the machine can be triggered not only by the Styrofoam operated switch in the safety tray under the machine's tub, but also by the Overfill Pressure Switch pictured here

My previous post describes the erratic behavior this switch can cause. It seemed almost at random, the "High Water Level" condition would occur in whatever cycle I used.

0643b5b.jpg

It is easily located at the end of a small rubber hose visible when the kick panel and service covers are removed. Look just above where the electrical power terminal block is. The switch is held in place by the clip protruding from the top (as shown in the picture above). The sides of the clip need to be pressed towards the center to release the switch. I simply rotated the switch until the clip was turned to the longer side of the rectangular hole it clips in to. It then just fell out.

This pressure switch triggers the drain pump when too much water enters the machine, but it can malfunction and will keep the drain pump running "forever" until you turn off the breaker. Unfortunately, until the problem is rectified, the dishwasher "remembers" what it was doing when you disconnected the power and when you re apply power, the drain pump will again start draining your already empty dishwasher.

I pulled the connectors attached to the spade terminals on the switch back a bit and then forward as far as they would go ensuring all the wires had continuity from the terminal to the opposite end of the wire it was attached to. When I re applied the power, the empty dry dishwasher attempted to start up where it left off in the cycle it was on, but the "High Water Level" conditioned cleared. Pressing and holding the single button opposite the light left on canceled the cycle and the machine went into standby as it should.

I hope this helps someone else. Until I "Googled" the part number printed on the switch, I didn't know what triggered the "overfill" or "High Water Level" condition.

Part number on the part was 8058475. I also found out the small hose attached is part number 8058500. The small hose is not as readily available as the pressure switch, so extra care should be used when handling it.
