First, put your device into DFU mode. Next option restore to the 3.1.3 ipsw. It should give you an error (1505 I think) and it will enter recovery mode. After that run blackra1n rc3 and the iPhone will go to a black screen. Hold down the home button and the power button until it restarts. Then when it turns on iTunes will activate it. Good luck

When i restore my iphone it stops at the end and says problem 1002

Okay so error 1002 is a baseband error. Either your baseband software is bad and you need to flash to the newest version, or the baseband hardware is shot. If your hardware is shot, guess you need a new logic board etc. But as I just researched some more on that issue I did find that Sn0wbreeze 2.5.1 will bring a fix to iTunes "error 1002 & 37 which was mainly experienced by iPhone 3GS users while restoring iOS 4.3.1 custom IPSW coupled with iPad baseband 06.15.00." Anyhow, might be worth a try, not much to loose I suppose. If you are looking to download it or to get more info, it is here. Good Luck to everyone.

Iphone 4 from korea cannot activate here using sim card philippines what i should do

All you do it first follow the instructions to "Jailbreak" Your iphone 4.
Then you have to "unlock" it using ultrasn0w from cydia to allow it to operate on a network other than the intended networks here in the US.
most important is to check the "baseband" of your iphone as updated iphone 4 with newer firmware will not be able to be unlocked and therefore cannot be used in other countries without changing your baseband to the IPAD baseband of 6.15 which redsn0w will do. If you need more information please ask for clarification.
To find your baseband/firmware check Settings>General> about, google this information to see if they have an "unlock" for your baseband.

How to update iPhone 4 without updating the baseband

This will guide you on updating your iPhone 4 to iOS version 4.1 while retaining / keeping your baseband to 01.59.00.

This is for iPhone 4's which are currently on an older iOS version - 4.0.2, 4.0.1 or 4.0. If you didn't do when you update to 4.1, this process cannot downgrade your baseband from 02.10.04 to 01.59.00. This will only keep the 01.59.00 baseband when UPDATING to 4.1.

WARNING: This is for iPhone 4 ONLY! DO NOT attempt to do this on an iPhone 3GS or 3G. I tried this on one of my iPhone 3G, and it failed, the baseband was updated! The result, it can't be unlocked! I assume the same will happen on a 3GS although I haven't tested it yet.

I have iphone 3gs , booltloader 06.04, baseband .05.14.02, OS 4.01... i accidentally upgrade its version to 4.1 after that i did downgarde to 4.01 using tinyumbrella n hactivate, jailbresk it using...

You can certainly jailbreak, but you cannot unlock as of yet. It doesn;t matter if you downgrade the 4.1 firmware, that may help you jailbreak but it is the Modem Firmware or Baseband that matters. Your baseband upgrade camme with the 4.1 update. Since you are at 05.14.02, you cannot unlock as of now, period. You cannot downgrade the baseband on a 3GS, so jailbreak using Limera1n or Greenp0ison, but you need to wait for a new version of Ultrasn0w in order to unlock for anything other than AT&T.

Dont worry though, my sources tell me that the unlock is on it's way to be released.

Good luck, contact me anytime.

Nokia 6100 contact service solution please

This tutorial will show you how to upgrade your iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.1 without upgrading its baseband using TinyUmbrella for Windows.

Currently there is an issue with older basebands such as 1.59.00 and FW 4.3.1. Until ultrasn0w is updated, you will only see one bar under signal strength.

Please Note: This ONLY Works with the iPhone 4!

Step One
Download TinyUmbrella from here Also make sure to download the iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.1 which you can find here.

Step Two
Double click the downloaded TinyUmbrella.exe file.

If you get a Windows Firewall notification, check both boxes and click Allow Access.

Step Three
Make sure the device is connected, and Umbrella has detected the type of device and its firmware.

**If you haven't already saved your iOS 4.3.1 SHSH blobs then click Save SHSH. Make sure they successfully save before continuing.

Step Four
Hit Start TSS Server and make sure you receive no errors.

Once The TSS Server is "running" successfully, umbrella will kill iTunes. Leave TinyUmbrella Open. You can double check to see if the TSS server is running under the Log tab.

If you do receive an error, DO NOT continue. Your restore will not work if the TSS server cannot be started.

Step Five
Open iTunes by doubling clicking its icon.

Hold down the Shift key and click Restore

Select your iPhone 4.3.1 firmware file from the popup window that appears and click Open.

Click Restore to begin restoring your device.

Step Six
iTunes should give you error 1013. This is what we wanted, as it notes the baseband has not updated :) Click Ok and close iTunes.

If you get a 16XX error then try entering DFU and go to step 5.
If your restore does NOT end in a 1013, it means your baseband was updated. This is likely because you did not have the TSS server running OR you updated without TinyUmbrella OR you are working with a device OTHER than iPhone 4.

Step Seven
Place your iPhone into DFU mode by holding down both the Power and Home buttons for ten seconds, then release the Power button and continue holding the Home button for another 5 seconds. You can find help with DFU mode here.

Step Eight
Fix Recovery in TinyUmbrella is currently not working. Download this standalone .exe file to fix recovery on 4.3.1. Extract the file and double click on fixrecovery43.exe. A command prompt will open, and the program will go through the process. During this time, you will notice scrolling text on your iPhone 4.

Step Nine
Your iPhone will now be on 4.3.1 with the 1.59.00 baseband! (Which means you can now unlock using this tutorial)

**Thanks to semaphore for his work on this tool

Jailbreaking is possible. But not software unlocking. For that you must buy something like a Turbo Sim. For jailbreaking try the program called Quickpwn
