SOURCE: adjusting Date and day on a Festina 3 dial watch

Alhamdulillah, the problem solved (at last) tks to IRONMAN (http://www.fixya.com/support/t579677-instructions_mens_festina_watch_16095#SameProblemContinued)

The steps are like this :
1. Pull the crown full, and turn it clockwise until you find the right day.
2. and then push it one click (dont push it to hard so it back to normal position) and turn the crown counter clockwise to adjust date.
3. Push the small button near the crown to adjust month.

and voila... the problem solved

SOURCE: Wenger Swiss Military Watch: small set-time handle fell off.

That small gizmo is called CROWN or WINDING CROWN. It is not possible to obtain it online, so, you have to shop around for it. Find your nearest watchmakers shop and ask for replacement. You may need stem as well.

SOURCE: Date dial is not moving when adjusting. No problem

The date dial is turn by two mechanisms. By turning the crown one set of wheels are engaged to change the date but when the watch is running or the time is being set another set of wheels is used to change the date.

Because it will not change on it's own when the watch is keeping time the wheel that is supposed to turn the date needs to be replaced.

A qualified watchmaker can do this for you.

Hope this helps.

Date setting problems

A jeweler should be able to pull and reset the hands on your watch so that the date changes much closer to midnight. Note that some movements are designed to change the date at one time and the day of the week slightly later. This is done so that the power of the watch movement isn't overwhelmed by moving two date wheels simultaneously.

For a competent repairman, this is a fast and inexpensive repair. However, because of the risk of breaking the brittle pinions on which the hands are set, I would really discourage you from attempting this repair yourself. You might also accidentally scratch or otherwise mar the watch face, which would require an expensive dial refinish that will probably never look exactly like the factory dial.

Good luck!

How do I set a Danbury pocket watch with date display

If it is this pocket watch, then the crown (the bit you turn to wind the watch) has 3 positions. Position 1 is when the crown is pushed in all the way. Position 3 is when the crown is pulled out as far as it will go. In between position 1 and position 3 is a place where the crown will stop, this is position 2.
To set the day of the week, pull the crown out to position 3 to set the time. When you set the time, the bottom dial with also turn to set the hour on the 24 hour clock, if you turn the crown enough to cycle through a whole day the day of the week dial will also turn. Keep turning the crown until the time is set on the proper day of the week.
To set the date, pull the crown out to position 2, and turn it clockwise until the hand on the date dial points to the correct date.
Hope this helps!

B.m.w. geneve 250 watch what are the four small dials for how to operate them denis

If it's the same watch I have, the four dials from right to left are day of week, hours left in the day, date 1-31, and possibly a chronograph (mine makes 2 revolutions/minute). On the case, there are three large knobs on the right and two small flush screw-like objects on left. The large knobs (top to bottom) are month selection, time set, and day of week select. Month and day can be selected by pushing the knob to the desired date. On the left, you will need a fine pen or stylus to press the center. Top to bottom, these two buttons control year and date selection.

I have a Kenneth Cole Reaction KC1433 and don't know how to adjust the day of week ? The stem only appears to control the time of day and the day of month.

Pull out the knob on the side 2 clicks and keep spinning it. it will advance the day if you keep spinning the dial.

Mark Naimer watch came without instruction manual.

I purchased a Mark Neimer (?Naimer) QUO watch style W107J and it came without a manual. The buttons on the side are just for show--they do nothing. The three small dials in the center (week days, month days, and military time) are also useless. This Undergear product is a joke at best.

Anne Klein chronograph watch

The button advances the numeric day. After the numeric day is advanced one full month, the month dial advances to the next month. I just about got a blister pressing the button enough times to advance the month from January all the way around to December. Then I had to advance the numeric day to the current numeric day. The previous person told you by turning the dial 24 hours you can advance the alphabetic day of the week by one day (Sun, Mon,etc.).

Relic watch 3 dial

Chances are they represent one of the following-

Month of the Year
Time of Day (military time)
Day of the Week
Day of the Month

It depends on what the dials have on them - usually there is some indicator (abbreviated months, numerical values, etc)
