the signal wire for the setbelt is broken in the rubber boot that is in the door jam. These wires are known to brake from being bent so many times from opening and closing the doors.
This is how I fixed my seatbelt problem.
If the running boards are out before start your vehicle, open door,go to your fuse box and pull the fuse. The back of the panel will tell you what each fuse is for and location. This'll keep them from retracting.
check all under dash fuses (both ends) with test light , some will not light tester at all , those just ignore , they are key on fuses , test only key off fuses , replace fuses as needed with same amperage rating , if not sure : consult owners manual
2000 Honda Odyssey the middle seat belt is broken. The seatbelt won't retract. The end of the belt does not come out but the entire seatbelt will come out of the hole. Any suggestions?
