Question about Sylvania G-Netbook
It could be a driver issue. Try using another computer to go to the manufacturer's website to download a new driver for your network card. Drivers are usually found under Support/drivers. If that does not fix the problem, try to contact the manufacturer. Since, it is a new laptop, then it should be under warranty.
