Do you mean your home screen?
Customize Your Home Screen
To personalize your Q, you might want to consider customizing your Home Screen. A designer has created a number of wallpapers and home screens that are available for download in our free software section or by visting Kooldezign.
These designs are free, but I encourage you to donate to the author if you find them useful. Follow these steps to personalize your Home Screen Layout:
Download both the .home.xml and wallpaper image.
Place both files in /Application/Data/Home folder on your Moto Q.
Press Home > Settings > D. Home Screen
Using the 5-way navigator, scroll right to select your new home screen layout
Scroll down to Background Image > Using the 5-way navigator, scroll right to select the appropriate Background Image or Wallpaper for your new Home Screen.
Press the Home button and you should now see your new Home Screen.
Have you tried to delete ALL calls, not only the missed ones? Hopefully the screen will reset if you delete all calls, both incoming and outgoing ALL calls. Another way may also be to temporarily change the Today screen. Go to settings and click the Object tab. Uncheck all and save your changes. Go to the today screen and se that everything is gone. Optional-You may turn off and on your phone and remove the battery for a few minutes and then turn on your phone again. Now you can try to change the Today screen back the way you want it. If this do not solve the problem and you find this hilly annoying maybe a total reset of the phone may be of help. The problem is that it resets everything, therefore you need to backup everything you don't want to lose, but this will sometimes solves strange problems.
you should be able to just scroll left through the menu with your directional button on your phone. i might be misunderstanding you, but i dont think you can type anything in there...just scroll through the various options like AT&T Default, AT&T Windows Basic, etc.
