My Magnavox won't show picture or video

Hi
My name is Sandra. My husband bought me a Flat screen TV a few months ago. Is a MAGNAVOX it doesn't have any other brand written on it. Last night we wanted to watch a movie but there was not picture. It turns on and you can hear everything but you can't see anything. Could you please help me? What do you think is the problem? We really don't have much money so it would be great to be able to fix it without having to spent much. :)

I would suggest to unplug the LCD for about 30 minutes from the main AC outlet. Plug it back in after that and see if that restore the video.
If it does not, I would suggest to call the manufacturers to have the LCD repair under warranty, all electronic devices have one year warranty.
Good Luck.

Regular picture size shrinks and color fades

This is a common problem on certain models of Philips Magnavox TV sets. The most common symptom is the screen will shrink and expand over and over. After the TV heats up for a while the video will work like normal. After a few weeks or months your TV will eventually stop working and not have video. You can get complete parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com

HOW DO I CONNECT MAGNAVOX DVD/ VCR TO VIZIO FLAT SCREEN

Is simply. get the audio/vido cables and look on the back of the TV and connect from the audio video outputs from the combo to the audio video inputs on the tv. remember the colors of the terminals and connect them that matches the red, white (audio) and the yellow (video). Using the remote locate the button "input" or "source", and select video 1 or 2, depending where you connected it.

BIG TROUBLE with my 52" Phillips Magnavox Rear Projection Tv, HELP!!

It sounds like the 3 "GUNS" are not aligned.
One the controls at the bottom, left hand side You will see an arrow pointing to the first 2 on the left.
That will allow you to scroll down the list of options until you see....CONVERGANCE!
make the red gun center by using the up/down arrows on right. Then add the next 2 until you see a white X or cross.
Thats it!
