I the power light is a steady amber the computer is receiving electrical power, but an internal power problem might exist. Try these:
Make sure that the microprocessor power cable is securely connected to the system board, remove and then reinstall the memory modules, remove and then reinstall any cards.

What Wireless card to buy

A version that is Wireless N.

You can install a Wireless N adapter card in any available (Open)
white PCI slot, or use a Wireless N adapter that plugs into any available USB port.

The number 23 points to the white PCI slot.
The numbers 24 and 26 point to a PCI-Express x1 slot.

You can buy a Wireless N adapter card to fit either a PCI slot, or a PCI-Express x1 slot.

My Dell studio xps 9000 won't complete the boot process. the drive spins up for a moment then stops.

You may have a problem with somesort of update that is effecting your system. If you have recently added software, etc., you might try a system restore and trying again.

Frequent, repeated video display crash

Do the re-installation of operating system. Then observe if it will crushes down. If not, then the problem will be the operating system not the hardware. If still crushes down, try replacing the hard disk. Maybe it has a bad sector in it. That why it crushes down always.

Upgraded Studio XPS 435/9000 Ram - Now No Windows 7 Start

Check speed settings in BIOS, make sure that the sticks are the correct voltage for your motherboard. If the specs are correct, try a program like memtest86. This will tell you where the problem is, but it is up to you to find which stick that location is :) Might take some trial and error before you find the defective one!
