Question about Cameras

1 Answer

Hi. Original battery is less than a year old. Put on charger, after battery was totally dead, and charger light went to green in only 15 mins. This was after no use for a couple of months. Cleaned contacts on battery and charger, and light turned orange. Could there be a problem with charger?

There is most likely a problem with the battery. If the charge/recharge cycle very quickly, some of the battery cells are probably damaged. Look for a replacement battery and that should fix it.

Your battery is shot. Rechargeable batteries only last so long.

Hi, leave your phone down with the charger plugged in for about 15 mins, don't try to turn it on...only after 15 mins. I hope this helps :)

Bought the rechargeable light new a couple years ago, used one time for about 90 seconds. Went to use it again, it was dead. plugged in the battery charger into the cig lighter and it worked after 5 min....

First, ensure the charger is delivering voltage using a volt meter. If it is, the battery is probably bad. If you have soldering skills, the light can probably be disassembled and a replacement battery can be purchased from Radio Shack or online.

Battery was dead and phone got switched off i charged it ,still i cannot switch it on

hi there!

if the battery was just drained, plug the phone with its original charger (to make sure that the charger is in good working condition too) directly on the wall (dont use power extensions for now) and dont turn it on yet. wait for 2-5 mins, see if the phone responds (lights on, or the battery bar on the right or top part is moving). make sure that the charger is plugged in all the way too. if your battery is more than a year old, and has been draining fast when you use it, its possible that you have to change batteries already.

just make sure that the charger you're using is working fine with phones too.

1995 dodge stratus keeps going dead in driveway. I jump it off and let it run 15 mins to charge battery up. Turn off and crank right up, but the next day it is dead again.

With engine running used a voltmeter and check voltage at battery, you will be checking alternator out put voltage, should have a reading of no less then 13.0 volts, if less bad alternator, the reason it keeps going dead is that the car is using the battery to run it .till the battery has no more power, then you jump it and the battery is charge up again and will run again till it goes dead again.

My irobot (Roomba)is only working for 10 mins then

It should take about 6 hrs to charge. I had the same problem and reset the charging circuit. 1) Charge it until the green light comes on. 2) Unplug and pull battery out. 3) hold down the power on button 15-30 seconds. 4.) Put the battery back in, plug in the charger (direct - not through the dock) and charge for 72 hrs. Then, run at Max clean until the "I'm dead" tune plays.

Low Battery, Connected car charger, now is dead

May be the battery won't have charge, keep 1 or 2 hrs continues charges, and if it is not working then you have to replace the battery set full.

Dead battery making a clicking sound

take the battery out of the veh and see if it will charge overnight on a charger, if not then the bat just ran its course I doubt it is 11 years old. Bats last anywhere from 3 to 5 years then they die if it does charge then your alternator needs to be replaced as it charges the battery when you drive, low voltage may cause the buzzing, tellin gyou there is a problem.
