Connecting the CD player should NOT have caused any damage if they were power from the same receptacle and both had grounded plugs OR a walkman type was used which had no external power to it. Power transformers RARELY fail. Check if it has a fuse that has blown BUT do not replace the fuse until the cause of it blowing is found. Switches on a lot of these are POOR and they do fail.

Hartke vx115 lost significant volume

If you've tried different heads with the same result, the most likely problem is a blown speaker. Check it with an ohm meter, and if it's blown, you can either replace it or get it re-coned.

No sound coming out for my hartke amps?

Are the internal speakers properly connected via the rear-mounted 1/4 inch "Speaker Output" jack? If so and still no sound, try connecting a separate external speaker (floor monitor, pa cabinet) for a "low volume" test.

The OM says the internal speakers are 4 ohm so it's unlikely that a wiring problem with speaker connections would cause all four to stop working. With AC power disconnected from outlet check for an internal speaker protection fuse BUT be careful. Charged capacitors can hold a charge for weeks!!!

The amplifier takes a bit of time to come to DC balance and same thing happens as power goes down. Some fancier units will have a relay to disable speaker until balance occurs, but this one does not. As long as the cone centers within a couple seconds it will not cause a long term problem.

My Hartke A100 has a problem, no power, the problem is transformer. what is the exact volt of transformer A100 hartke? than you

Transformers don't often fail. I have heard that some of these have a thermal fuse in them and they sometimes open. If you can get to the fuse in the windings, you can replace it and save the transformer. The fuses look like a silver tube about 5/8 inch long and 3/16 inch diameter with a lead out each end, They are marked with the temp they open and are a one-shot thing that have to be replaced.

This problem has to do with a Hartke 3500 bass amp. I recently purchased a replacement UCISC (the part with the female plug and fuse box) and replaced it. I tried to be very careful putting all of the...

Easiest way to check is to measure the resistance between the ground pin of your cord and the chasis of the unit. It should be very low. That is the only critical one... Look at a receptacle. See one bllade is wide? That is the neutral. The other one is the HOT side. The HOT SIDE should go to either the fuse or the switch first in your unit. If you have those right the third wire will be right.
When powering up an amp there often is a noise until the amplifiers balance out. Very high quality and high power amps have a relay that disconnects the speaker until balance is reached... but the smaller amps do noot have this feature.

My transformer is burned. Now I need to know what the secundairy voltages are

Transformers USUALLY don't get burned as they are usually protected by a fuse. This one supposedly uses a 3 amp fuse which should have protected it from getting burned. If you can find a schematic or if you can find the specs on the output amp power supplies we can probably calculate the voltage of secondary. We know only that it is supposedly 120 Watts and uses an 8 ohm speaker. The RMS voltage should be about square-root 120*8 = sqrt 960 = 31V*1.4 = approx 44 volts peak... so you will need to get about +/-45 volts out of the supply for headroom... which will need approximately 34 volts AC given diode drop and droop of filter caps. These are really rough educated calculations from the tiny bit of info we have.
Finding a transformer to replace this matching these requirements will be near impossible without getting device from the original manufacturer OR having your rewound.
I would first verify the transformer is bad (only plausible cause is somebody over-fused it or a winding shorted)... Remove all the secondary loads. Put a 3 amp fuse in AND put a 60 Watt light bulb in series with teh power cord to act as a limiting device to test the transformer... Note that transformers DO have a bit of odor as they are usually impregnated with a varnish...

Hartke Ha2500 250watt Bass Amplifier Head sound cuts off(not turns off)after a little while comes back on

This sounds like the thermal protection is activating. Make sure the vents and heatsinks have FREE AIRFLOW. If the sound cycles on and off, it could be a failure of the heater in the one vacuum tube in the unit. The heater could cooll and reconnect and then heat and disconnect.

Amps in a seires

I'm not sure what this will do, but electrically you can hook these up. Using the line output from the swx, connect it to the line level input. I think that that would be the active input. When you connect a guitar(without a battery powered pickup) to the hartke, it goes to the passive input right? If so, then connect the line out of the swx to the active input. Reverse if the behavior is opposite of what I described.

Realise that with these two connected to each other, you will be using both pre-amp sections and the amp section of the hartke.
