Take the color cartridge back out then put back in making sure to fully seat it. Also, you could have an old cartidge where the ink has dried. Also after replacing ink you need to calibrate the head via the printer utility program. Speaking of that after you have reseated the cartridge open the utility and see if it has something that says "Clean Head" or something to that effect. If none of that works then return the cartridge where you purchased and get a defective return for replacement.
