  1. Log into your Roku account from a browser (roku.com) to see if it is already linked. (look for the Roku player serial number under My linked devices.)
  2. If the serial number does not appear as a linked player, go back to your TV and select Help, then Get a new code. Enter the new code at roku.com/link.
  3. If the serial number does appear as a linked player, wait a few minutes to let the update appear on the Roku player.
  4. If the player does not update, even after waiting, restart your Roku player, begin the setup process again, and see if that resolves the problem.
There may be a delay between the time it takes to update your Roku player and the message you see on the TV. Please wait a few minutes before getting a new code.

I get a link code but the web page will not accept it.
Select Help then Get a new code. Enter the new code at roku.com/link.
If a new code does not work:
Reset the Roku player to factory defaults. (show me how)
Note: The link code will expire after a period of time. If this happens, try the steps above to get a new code and attempt to re-link the Roku player first before resorting to factory resetting the Roku player.

How do i enter my roku activation code

Roku devices first need to be added to an existing Roku account. It's very simple, and you will need to supply a payment method for any future purchases. No charges will be applied to your payment method until yo actually make a purchase.
If you haven't done so already, you must first create a Roku account at this link: Welcome to your Roku account
Click on on the create account button if you have not already created an account, and follow the instructions...
Then you can add your Roku device to your account at this link: Roku Link Device with the activation code shown on your T.V screen.
Any channels you'd like to add to your device in the future from the channel store, should provide you with a web address, and a link code, on your TV screen.
Your payment method will only be charged for channels which indicate a price for them, any that say they are free, will not incur any charges to the payment method used when creating your Roku account.
