Generally to accomplish this you need to change the orifice(s). The two gasses supplied at different pressures requiring the orifices to be changed if at all possible

I purchased this microwave a few years ago but not until I bought a new stove did I notice that the exhaust fan does not draw the moisture up the chimney. The fan works, but nothing is being drawn up.

Jean, there's little information in your query, so I'll have to guess...

Many "microwave hood" combinations can be used as "recirculating" or as actual exhaust. It sounds like yours is set to recirculate. I don't know what make/model you have, but you might look in the documentation that came with it for how to switch it over.

Unlock frigidaire tove

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire stove is not unlocking and you have shut it off at the breaker and pressed clear. You have performed the proper troubleshooting regarding your stove and it appears that you could have a possible problem with the door latch or control panel. I would recommend having a professional technician come out and complete a diagnosis and repair on your stove. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Hi, I have a Maytag super capacity plus free standing stove. I think the past owners refitted it for propane. However, when I use the oven I can hear it turning off and on with the propane. Also, I smell...

My advice is to get a professional person to check this out. If you smell propane then there has to be a leak of gas. It could kill you if you don't get it repaired right way. Large flames mean you may have the wrong orifices in it.

Can you put and over-the-counter microwave over a stove?

Yes, that is what they are made for, As long as it has a vent that can be used to vent the smoke from cooking it can be mounted over the stove. Normally the bottom of the microwave should be mounted 16" to 19" above the stove top. The microwave must have a vent with a blower motor in order to be used above a stove top. Most have a thermal switch that will turn the microwave vent on once the temperature reaches a set point.

Microwave isn't cooking.

Most likely it has a problem in the high voltage section of the microwave.  For safety this should be checked by a professional.  Look in your manual because some high voltage parts i.e. magnatron, transformer, diode, capacitor have a longer warranty than just 1 year.  Would appreciate a solved rating for expert advice.
