If you mean special characters like for the yen sign ¥ or the Spanish ?, then the way to do this is by holding the ALT key followed by a number sequence.
You might be talking about the special or Fn keys. Sometimes people accidentally hit this key on the laptop and change their letters to words. Getting rid of the num lock on this depends on the model of the laptop, but it's usually turned off by using the Fn key + an icon that symbolizes num lock on your laptop, which you'd have to find out by going through your laptop's manual.
You might also mean concerting ascii numbers into their counterpart. In which case, there's a way to do this using the python programming language using the chr() function. Where you put the number in between the parenthesis to find out what the corresponding number is.
for example:
chr(97) would yield an 'a'
That's about all the possibilities I could guess your question meant. Hope at least one of them was the right one.

### HOW TO MAKE ROMAN NUMERALS

Hi Dawn Middaugh, where are you trying to include Roman numerals - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or somewhere else? If you are working in Office, just use the letters I,V,X, and C,D,M to make the numerals. So, 1-10 would be I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X. C is for 100, so CXI is 111. DXI is 511. MCXI is 1,111. If you need anymore help let me know.

it is not possible to see the recent visitors to your facebook profile, but if you wanna know the most active people who had done recent conversations with you, you can right click on your profile page and click "VIEW SOURCE", then search for the word "friendslist". Now you see some numeric values after that word. Just copy any numeric value and put it after facebook url such as www.facebook.com/123468012408 and press enter to see the profile of that person. Hope it helps.

### If u multiply both terms of 2/3 by 4 you get?

I would not use the word term to refer to the numerator and denominator of a fraction. To get back to your question, if you multiply the numerator and denominator of a fraction by the same number (call it a, with a different from zero) you are in fact multiplying the original fraction by the fraction a/a, and that is equal to 1. So you are just multiplying the fraction by 1.

### How can one type with a normal typing keyboard rather than hitting abc for a c?

If your phone only has the numeric pad you can change the setting from "abc" to "T9". T9 is a predictive texting mode, so if you wanted to type the word "hello" you would just press the corresponding numbers 1 time, for example: 4(gHi)-3(dEf)-5 (jkL)-5(jkL)-6(mnO), so you would only hit 4-3-5-5-6, if the word is not the first word displayed you can hit the next key which is usually either * or # depending on your phone. The T9 setting is usually changed by again hitting either the * or # key, or sometimes 0. It is also sometimes selected on the texting menu from within the message.

### Describe the rules of the metric table

General Rules for Abbreviating Units of Measure
• Always abbreviate units when reporting numerical information.
• Unless otherwise noted, singular and plural units are abbreviated the same.
• Percent is not abbreviated, but is represented by the familiar "%" symbol.
• Always put a space between the number and unit, e.g., 203.65 m, 457 um
• pH: The proper method for reporting pH is to place the unit before the number (pH 7); never insert the word "of" between the unit and number and avoid splitting the unit and number within a sentence - they should always go together.
• When do you abbreviate units vs. spelling out the unit(s) as word(s)?
• abbreviate units when you are reporting a numerical value:
"The maximum depth achieved by the ROV was 124 m approximately 2.3 km due south of Pt. Lobos."
• spell out the unit as a word when using it in a non-numerical context, e.g.,
"All measurements were made in millimeters unless otherwise indicated."
• When starting a sentence with a number and unit, both must be spelled out as words (this is something to avoid, if possible), e.g.,
"One thousand six hundred and eighty-seven kilograms of ground beef were randomly sampled and tested for E.coli contaminants between 21 August and 21 November, 1995."
