Took back tire off not sure how everything goes back together

The 3rd nut you are asking about does go to the coster break. sould have a small bracket that wraps around the frame, then the break leaver goes in the middle. if it has a differnt bracket then it goes on what ever side that it is closet. in or out side, dont matter, as long as it dont hit the tire or rim.
Good rideing, be safe. Vern

Alloy breaking surface split

Okay, it sounds like you mean the rim is cracked. STOP RIDING IT. Get the rim replaced at a bike shop or buy a whole new wheel. Depending on the wheel the cost may be about the same. If you get the same exact model new wheel you could keep the old one as a source for spare spokes and th hub is probably okay, too.

My rear tire will not engage. Sprocket just spins. Any solutions?

your freewheel body has come to the end of its life span and needs to be replaced the cost will depend on your style of rim if it isnt a cassette style rim and you have a couple of bucks i suggest buying the cassette style instead of fixing the cheaper style your choice and i hope this helps you out and happy riding ok

My rim of bicyle is bent

Google this "fix bent bicycle rim" for many answers and videos.

The actual 'fix' will depend a lot on how it got bent. Many bicycle shops can lace a new rim onto your existing hub and spokes but you may find it cheaper to buy a new wheel.

How sohuld I keep my bikes clean?

Bike maintenance: how to clean your bike. When it come to how to take care of your bike - keeping it clean is the number one most important tip. If you ride your bike regulary, inevitably it is going to get dirty. Dirt, sand and mud will cause parts and elements to wear out prematurely. For example, bicycle break pads should be replaced regulary, as they rub against the wheel and sustain wear. However, any excess dirt caught between the wheel rim and the brake pad will result in prematurely worn pads, rim damage, and compromised brake function. Make it a point to wash your bike after long rides,or as frequently as you are able . Wash the bicycle with worm soapy water, rags and brushes that will enable you to scrub the dirt, and scum from the front and rear derailers, cabels, wheel rims and brakes, chain and sprockets.Specialized chain scrubbing tools are sold by many bicycle retailers. Most cyclists recommend using green or all natural soaps, particulary if you plan to wash your bike outdoors. When washing, avoid getting water into elements such as gear shift levers, wheel bearings or crank bearings.

I have a schwinn avenue bike purchaced at walmart last fall. i have had to replace spokes on the rear 3 different times.

Either you are riding over some really rough terrain or the air pressure in the tires is too low. Not getting them tight enough will also cause alignment problems and bend spokes. Eric
