You don't say what kind or model of camera you have so I'll just guess. If your camera came with a software CD, put it in your computer and install the software and drivers necessary to make the camera work with your computer. If you don't have a cd, you can try this: if your camera has SD card, take it out and hopefully you have a sd card slot on your computer, put it in there and a box should open asking you what you want to do with what it sees. If you don't have a card reader on your computer, you can buy one for about 20 dollars, its a usb device. good luck

Camera wont upload videos

Hi there. I would like to help you.

Turn the camera off and connect the usb cable between the camera and the pc. Turn the camera on. Go to My Computer on your pc. Do you see the camera as one of the drives in the list? If not, do this:
Turn the camera off and disconnect it from the pc, and turn it back on.
While in live view, hit the menu/ok button.
Scroll to the right to the the icon with the wrench (set up menu).
Scroll down to usb configuration and press the menu/ok button.
Highlight Disk Drive, then press the menu/ok button.
Turn the camera back off, and reconnect it to the pc.
Turn the camera back on.
You should now see it as a drive. Open the folder and find a video you recorded and try to play it.
Let me know if this works for you. You can leave a comment and we'll get it worked out. If it does work, feel free to rate this solution a fixya.

Samsung l700 video problem

make sure that you have the right video codec installed in your PC
if the sound plays then the audio codec that you have is right.

before you burn the video to a disc, make sure that you convert the video file, the camera creates AVI video format and most DVD players do not play AVI

When you connect the camera to the PC through USB, you should see the Scanner and Camera Wizard. It gives you the option to transfer pictures and videos to another location on your system. It won't do if if you don't have the room on your HDD.

Video Upload

Only digital signal can be uploaded on PC but your camera is analog model and you can't connect it directly with PC. You need to install MPEG card in PC to digitize the picture signal of camera to upload in PC.

No sound

it sounds like that camera is fine. It might be the settings on the software for the camera. You can edit videos with most digital camera software and you may have put a mute setting on all uploaded video.

There is probably a setting in the DigiMax Master software on your PC that is causing the sound not to appear.

Can't upload video on PC

the computer might not automatically upload the file. it will detect the hardware, but not necessarily start uploading. if you have xp, try going into movie maker which is in your program list in the start menu. on the left hand side there is a few blue sentences, one is import video, another is import video from device. if you have your camera connected to the computer through firewire and have your camera on the vcr/playback mode, open movie maker and click import video from device, the computer will have already detected your camera, so the first option your given in the next screen should have the make and model of your camera to upload from.
