Question about Whirlpool Dryers
It is most likely due to a worn thermocouple which creates a low voltage from the pilot flame to keep the gas valve open. There are also other things that could be wrong such as dirt in the gas line, low pressure which is tested by a technician with a manometer. Most likely it is the thermocouple which is a fairly easy and inexpensive fix.
