Question about Baby Gear
Be very careful with "Decorative heirloom" style cribs. The CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commision)
at www.cpsc.gov warns that older cribs may be dangerous and not up to current safety standards.
If you look hard enough at flea markets and 2nd hand stores you may find the mattress support but
your crib may put your grandchild's life in danger. It is just not worth it when you can buy a new crib for about $100. If you can fit a soda can thru the slats on a crib, it is dangerous. You only get one life, one child's life and it isnt worth risking. Be safe and I hope you find a safe conclusion.
