My akai MG-14-D will not play,rewind,fast forward or eject! also the LED's peak when powered up and will not stop peaking, until powered down?

I had the same problem and fixed it by replacing one of the voltage-regulators 7805. It's located at the back of the powersupply-card.

Tascam 644 midistudio tape deck problem


Halo I have the same problem. The motor that moves the tone heads up only shake a bit but dont move it up to the tape.
The take up clutch motor does not move at all and there is no volt on the motor.

I wonder if it has a counter and if so, is the belt that drives the counter too loose? Is the counter working?

Tape deck not working


Sounds like a motor problem. Try turning the motor by hand to see if it's bound up.
