Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
I'm really technically unskilled - that is, I'm ok once I get used to one particular way of doing something. This problem, I can't solve.
I've always added files to my sansa mp3 player by opening the folder and just copying files to it from my computer... now I've tried this with some new mp3s, I created an album folder, within the folder that already existed for this particular artist, as I always have done in the past, but then when I disconnected my sansa, and checked under the artist name, the new album wasn't there. When I looked under the songs, the songs are there, but when I try to play them, it moves to the next one down in the list. If I then use the arrow button, to go to the previous song, for some weird reason, that actually works!
After further investigation, I have discovered that my mp3 player has decided to store all these new songs under "unknown" goodness knows why!
I have no idea what on earth the problem is! I haven't done anything differently than usual, but I really need my songs to be neatly stored under the artist name, and for the song I select, to actually play!
Can anyone help?
I'm also stuck on how to create playlists, but that seems like a whole different problem from what I've seen just googling it.
Ok. first, you need to change the id3 tag in your mp3 files by right clicking it, selection properties, and then under information, change the album and artist name to what you desire.
for playlist, make a playlist in windows media and save it, then change the extension to .plp
