Sounds like power board or main board. check with olevia support and give them your model number and explain your problem. a lot of these parts have lifetime warranties and the service call is free. hope this helps.

you have a broken inverter board. I have a LT30HV, and it had the same problem. The inverter board supplies power to the backlight. Swap it out with a good one, and you're back in business.
To test, take a bright flashlight and point it at the screen just an inch or so off the surface. If you can see your picture, then you have a blown inverter.
it may not be worth fixing it. Wait for a good sale on a new one. My inverter cost about 150, and it was a remanufactured part. Not as good as the original part as it flickers just a tad. I had to take the entire TV apart, with pieces literally everywhere. My cats loved it.

I have had the same problem with my daughters Olevia...232-S13 out of the blue ti just decides to not turn on...blue light lit where the on/off button located but no sound and no picture....i guess the saying "you get what you pay for" stands clear here.......very upsetting.....

It all depends on your game console.
You can connect most to the Component, Composite, or HDMI inputs.
For modern consoles, use HDMI cables or provided Composite cables.
HDMI = Single cable and single plug (Best)
Component = Red, Green, Blue, Red, and White plugs (Average)
Composite = Yellow, Red, and White plugs (Worst, used for most older consoles and older TVs)
