Hi,

If "outlet" means 120 Volt AC Power Outlet, then you need a standard 3 wire PC power cable.

If "outlet" means the UBS port on your computer, then you need a USB A to B cable.

If "outlet" means the parallel port on your computer, then you need a computer parallel port printer cable

All of the above are available at computers stores, Stapes, Office Max etc.

Regards,

Yavacotech

Error E0 on laserjet m1132 mfp how to clear it

Hi, the error E0 is for a paper jam, please make sure your laserjet M1132 paper tray is not to full. You can also do a power reset by..... 1) disconnecting the power cable from the back of the printer........ 2) disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. 3) Wait up to 10 seconds and reconnect the power cable back to the wall outlet first, followed by the back of the printer. 4) Turn On the printer again.

Connect your printer directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
??Here is a screen grab from the manual. If you need the who manual as PDF replay. Or if you have it, please read pages 189-210+.

I need to know where to plug power cable and what type power cable i need

When you buy a printer power cable tell to the salesman/saleslady about the model of the printer for them to match your printer...
You can locate the input power chord into back or side of the printer...then plug that power cable into outlet to power on the printer
Note: Do not power on the printer until your pc configure it

Printer will not turn on ,power button just blinks when you press it down.

Unplug the printer power cable from the electrical outlet. Reconnect the printer power cable into the electrical outlet, and turn on the printer.
If it does not work, contact Dell support. You probably have a faulty power source.

Won't print

The printer needs to be connected to the wall outlet, and to the computer. That means you need two cords: a power adapter (to wall outlet), and a USB cable (to computer). You also need printer drivers installed. Those come with the printer, on a CD. The printer generally needs to be powered ON for the computer to recognize it.

You can get an Ethernet adapter for HP printers that plugs the USB in one slot and then an RJ45 cable from the other to the network. Good luck.

Need help to hook up IBM color flatbed scanner

Attach one end of a parallel port cable to the parallel (printer) port on your computer and the other end of the cable to the computer port on the rear of the scanner. If you have a printer connected to your computer, you must disconnect the printer cable from the computer before connecting the scanner cable.
If you have trouble attaching a cable connector to a port, be sure that you are connecting the correct end of the cable to the correct port.
IF. . . you want to use a printer WITH your scanner, attach one end of the printer cable to the printer port on the rear of the scanner and attach the other end of the cable to the printer.
Plug in power cord and then power up PC.
Power on scanner. Install drivers. Restart PC to activate EZ Station buttons.
