I have Terim Duel Fuel range cooker which at the moment can only be used by bottle gas/calor gas and not mains gas. Is there anyway it can be adapted to be used for mains gas?

You have to change the jets to the "mains" gas, usually these are found inside the back cover of the oven, sometimes it is only a wrench adjustment on the gas valves theselves.. look in your manual on how to do this, and if you don't have the manual, you will need to order it from the terim company

My terim cooker has 3 wires - black, blue and brown. Do you know which is live, negative and earth?

green or green and yellow is the ground (earth), blue is neutral, black and brown are both lives. this is the standard european wire color code since 2004. If it is older than that, black was used as a neutral, and blue as a live. very confusing.

Bought new cooker however no user guide its a kenwood ck404 duel fuel double oven 5 ring burner. need to know what symbols on switches are and what they do.

I have a problem with my Kenwood CK404. When I put either oven on (it's a double oven), once it gets hot it starts to make an awful noise. At first I thought it was the fan in the main oven. But it makes the same noise in the small oven, which doesn't have one. Does anyone have any suggestions of what the problem could be? Kind Regards

My90 duel fuel range master cooker : The two fan ovens and the clock have stopped working but the grill and all hobs are fine !! any solution??

the ovens work through the clock auto contacts if the clock not working then the ovens wont. may need a new clock or you can bypass the timer relay contacts if your clever. one of the oven elements may have blown to earth this is the main reason for a clock failing

I have a 31-year old Caloric gas wall oven (Model RWD216) that finally died. I am ready to install a new unit, which means taking out the old Caloric. My question is, how do I unhook the gas line from...

first turn the gas off at the meter/ a oven this old may not have a shut off in the back. then you can remove the oven safely/ the line in back will hook to 1/2in or 3/4 pipe stub. . if you have a shut off in the back turn it off and reconnect new range to it . and if not make shure you put one in .. mm

No power in oven

If it has a digital or anologue timer, make sure it is set on manual, or the oven will not work.

110v Range cords

Most duel fuel ranges need 220 volts. and the outlets are different.

If you can't find a heavy standard real range cord it is because in your area they probably changed the code. Try ordering out of state from Home Depot E bay etc. Or change the outlet.
