Be sure vent hose in rear is not mashed or compressed to the point of reducing air flow ..also ckd hose to outside for blockage if it goes under house ckd for dips in hose where moisture can condensate

What is automatic dry miser

Hello,
What the automatic dry miser is, is a sensor that measure how dry the clothes are and will adjust the time its going to take to dry the clothes throughout the entire cycle. If at the beginning it estimate it will take 40 minutes to sry a load but they are dry in only 25 minutes the dryer knows the clothes are dry and cuts the dryer off. Saving 15 minutes of unneeded gas and electric that it would run and waste power and gas since the clothes were dry already.

Dryer heats up but doesn't dry clothes take 3 hours after restarting 3 times to dry 3 articles of clothing.

It's not your heating element. Your venting system is clogged. Like mine was. You'll need to take care of this ASAP and from then on at least once a year. It is a fire hazard. Not only that if left this way It can kill your heating element.

My dryer takes 2 to 3 cycles to dry my clothes.

Check the following areas to combat this issue. in most cases, this will be a Venting issue.

    1. Venting
Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.

Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task.

    2. Thermostat
There are a couple of cycling thermostats inside the dryer. If one of them breaks down, it might affect the dryer's performance. Replace the defective thermostat.

    3. Heating element
A heating element might only be partially burned out, in which case it would still work but will take longer time to dry the clothes. Replace the element if found defective.

2 to 3 cycles to fully dry clothes

if the clothes are warm after the cycle then you need to make sure the vent to the outside of the house is not plugged if they are not warm then it is in the heating circuit of the dryer wether it be the element or a fuse will have to be tested. to dry clothes it takes heat and air flow if you dont have one of the two they will not dry correctly

    Timer Does not Move

FIRST CHECK YOUR VENT IS CLEANED OUT THEN SEE IF TIMER MOVES WHEN PUT TO A TIMED CYCLE. IF SO MEANS VENT CLOGGED UP. IF STILL NOT MOVING MEANS TIMER CONTROL BAD. COST ABOUT 80-100 FOR PART. YOU COULD DO YOURSELF IF SOMEWHAT HANDI.

COULD BE ORDERED FROM SEARS PARTS DIRECT BY YOU.

OTHER WISE CALL SERVICER AND MAY COST 200.00 TO REPAIR. HOPE THIS HELPS
