When snow is the least bit wet the blower won't pick it up and it gets cloaked in the shut. Will spraying the shut with WD40 or PAM eliminate this problem?

It sounds like you have a pretty small snow thrower, Here in northern michigan anything less than a 8 horse power will not work except on light fluffy snow. To answer your question, Yes that might help. any thing that reduces friction will make it work better. I really need a little more info before I can be of help on this. can you tell me what size (width) the blower path is, the horse power of the motor, the make of the device and also, is it one or two stage. when I hear back from you I'll try to be of more assistance.

I cant turn the rotater chute all the way to the right

is there a mechanical stop that prevents it from going all the way ? or does it just need lubrication , I use Crisco shortening as it sticks to gears on chute mech. and it washes up easy if you get it on your clothes (a lot easier than grease) , also it keeps chute ice from sticking to it , pam cooking spray works ok too

Snow is not sliding out of the Zamboni snow bin, and just wondering if there was anyone else that had this problem and what they used to fix the problem

Hi Zac:
Don't know how "environmentally friendly" it is, but some people spray a bit of vegetable oil like "Pam" on the lower end. It also works on snow shovels to keep the snow from sticking.

The ager gear box moves back and fouth

I have the same problem, seems the switch is getting wet and sticks... dry out the switch and it usually will work fine until it gets wet.
So far simplicity doesn't have a better switch yet and I am thinking of just drying it out and spraying the switch with a waterproof spray

if the chute jams it can ruin the gears, as it has with mine.

Larry - the manual isn't really going to help you get this started. Press the primer bulb - if provided a couple of times to get gasoline into the cylinder. You may hear it squirt - or even see it drip from the carburetor. Try starting. If it didn't, remove the spark plug. Is it wet with gasoline? Is the chamber filled with gasoline fumes (you can slowly pull the starter rope to move the piston up and force the air in the cylinder out to smell for gasoline). It wet, dry it throughly. If there is no gasoline odor, give a brief spray of starting fluid or ether into the spark plug opening - and install a new plug - or the clean old one. Attempt to start again. If it tries to start and sputters, you likely have a fuel delivery issue. Make sure the shut off valve at the bottom of the tank or inline on the fuel line is open. If it is, I suspect that the float in the carburetor or needle valve needs to be cleaned / adjusted or replaced. You may want to have this done for you as there are some very small parts involved and attention to detail when re-assembling will be required. Carburetor rebuild kits are available for most of these engines.

FLOAT IN CARB COULD BE STUCK SHUTTING OFF FUEL STRIP DOWN CLEAN AND SPRAY WITH WD40 FILL UP CARB BOWL WITH CLEAN FUEL THEN TRY IT . IF ELECTRICAL FAULT CHECK CONNECTIONS TO COIL AND HT LEADS CAN BE PRONE TO DAMP YOU MIGHT FIND THE CONNECTIONS ARE LOOSE AND HAVE GREEN GUNK ALL OVER THEM THIS CAUSES RESSISTANCE IN CIRCUIT, CLEAN IN WD40 TIGHTEN UP SPADE CONNECTIONS TRY AGAIN..JUST A THOUGHT TRY STARTING BIKE WITHOUT THE CHOKE ON IF PLUG GETS TOO WET SPARK TRACKS TO EARTH IT,LL NEVER START , JUST TRY A LITTLE THOTTLE UNTIL ENGINE IS WARM GOOD LUCK{FROM AN AUTO ELECTRICIAN}
