Hi All, I have a lambda pop111 series low voltage power supply unit. This unit has a problem and it doesn't gives the output voltages I suspect from the transformer which is the biggest one and there is a shortcut on it. Is there any schematics of power supply? or Can you help me that how I can understand the tranformer type and model to find and replaced with the new one. Or what is your idea that I have to check first. Thanks a lot - Hakan from Turkey

It would be cheaper to just order a new supply, the parts alone would cost you more if you tried to buy the individually.

Is it possible to lower the output voltage? My unit is running closer to 127vac?


Hi,
The voltage runs that high when there is no load so that as you load it the voltage will not dip too low...usually the higher voltage will give less trouble then low voltage will.. you also will use less amps. to run anything at a higher voltage... this places less stress on the generator...

I would not mess with it...when it is fully loaded you will be down under 120v

If you have a digital tester or analog try to check the voltage reading from the power supply if high or low or no supply.Check first following voltage location and section. * Check the AC voltage from ac cord to fuse and before the bridge type diode. * Check the DC voltage after the bridge type diode.if normal voltage. * Then check the voltage into the filter capacitor to regulator ic.the power ic.If theres a input voltage in the power ic,check the output voltage going to harizontal output.If no output the problem is you power output.You need to replace it.

The red light lamp is on. and the tv doesn't turn on

This is an indication that you have a problem on the power supply section or on the load because of the following reasons : 1. Over Voltage - the regulator might be cycling on over voltage due to lack of load. 2. Over Current Protection - excessive load or faulty power supply cycling willtrigger the over current protection circuit. This is because of open fusible resistor in line with a shorted Voltage regulator IC. 3. Leaky Capacitor - a dried up main filter capacitor or other filter capacitor in the low voltage power supply that is producing an out-of-regulation condition. A bad filter capacitor on the output of a series regulator may result in excessive/drop of voltage. 4. A problem with the microcontroller, relay or its driver, or standby power supply.


This is not DIY and quite technical so I've advice you to look for a qualified technician or send it to repair shop to isolate the problem.


But first check if your unit is under warranty then avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free or with a little charge only.

That is an error code.

I've suspect that you have #3 problem on the power supply section.

This is not DIY and quite technical so I've advice you to look for a qualified technician or send it to repair shop to isolate the problem.

But first check if your unit is under warranty then avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free or with a little charge only.

Lambda ews600-18 voltage goes down.


there is a short circuit protection and overoad protection to smps so o/p capacitor may short or secondary diode may short .so check voltage at primary when switched off after 33seconds whether switching process is going or not for that check dc volt at i/p capacitor then check volt at collector of transistor if metr shows 1digit then switching is going if not then meter shows full dc volt check component near about that

Hi,I turned on my Marshall mg series 100 dfx and there is no sound,just static comes on.Its starts with a kinda bad feedback sound than turns to loud static.


I suspect the power supply for the effects processor has failed. The effects unit will "go crazy" when power supply is too low voltage.

If the amp has loud noise, then the power amp portion is PROBABLY OK.

I had a similar problem in a Behringer amp caused by a bad electrolytic filter cap.

Lexicon Lamda Problem


I have a Sterling st-51 condenser mic and purchased a Behringer xenyx 1002b mixer. Similar problem, dynamic mics work in low impedence with or without phantom pwr on. My Washburn acoustic bass with preamp in line input section. So I tried it on my Omega Lexicon interface. The condenser mic and everything else works on the Omega. This unit has a wall wart ( your Lambda is USB powered). I checked the voltages with a meter and found 23 volts from the mixer and 48 volts from the Omega. Further, I have two Shure SM-82 line mics which work on the mixer with the inputs turned all the way down but do not work on the Omega nor on my Spirit SX mixer which has 48 volts phantom power. The SM-82s are old line mics that have a 9.6 volt battery in the sleeve. They overload badly in all but the 1002B mixer. Their voltage should run btwn the 9.6 battery or a 22 volt phantom power.

Check your Lambda voltage, It could be way less than needed by the st-51. I will check with a friend who has the Lambda and check its voltage. Bet it is too low.

Again, My St-51 and 1002B mixer combo barely works at 23volts, the Mic gain is all the way up as is the channel slider and the main output slider. I cant get any reading on my led meters, occasional bump on the first light, no possible way to clip the input or the output and have to turn the high eq off and the mid way back due to hiss noise. Hope this helps,couldn't find minimum voltages on the ST-51 as yet.
