Typically on these units there is only one hookup for the amp or a left and right hookup. The crossovers are already inside the speaker box and will send the highs to the tweeters and the lows to the subs. Make sure that if you amp has an adjustable crossover that it is set to full so that all frequencies go to the speaker box.

Can you get me a diagram on electrical hookup?

Hello;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service technician.

I do not know if you have a 3 wire or 4 wire connection. For a 3 wire connection you need 15 AMPS at the breaker box. For a 4 wire connection you need 30 AMPS at the breaker box.

Three wire hookup. Center wire goes to N, the other two wires are hot. It makes not difference witch of these two wires go to L1 or L2. The ground goes to the cabinet.

Check the voltage - With a volt meter between L1 & N = 220V, L2 & N = 220V, L1 & L2 = 240. These readings are general. You may get something like 210V instead of 200V

Code P0170 and P0173

The shop failed to do basic preventative maintenance
such as scan the systems, look at data & possibly road test
The vehicle is a 2000 year you ask about oxygen sensors
& when they were replaced & look at mileage They get changed
at 100,000 miles
You got idle issues
What happened there? They let that go also
Google any codes you get
OBD PO171 etc
I would find a different shop
Tune-Up is no more than spark plugs & that
is preventative maintenance
You don't do a tune-up for a problem
You do spark plugs every 3 years & then you know
when they were done last & proceed to diagnose the
drivabelity issues
These shops will do & sell what ever you ask & then some
to stay in business
They fail to really check your vehicle over completely
you can't install spark plugs & throw on wires you don't need
& expect that to do a thing as far as knowing how the vehicle
is operating.there electronically controlled & need those systems also

There are MANY different options when it comes to your system such a XM or Sirius satellite systems and then wiring to the amp & steering wheel controls. In any case it way to much to post until I know what you have in your vehicle. If you still need this information email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with detailed information as to what options and stuff you have for your system. I will be happy to email it to you once I know what all you have....

I purchased a new Goodman AC/Heat inside and out side units, am getting ready to run the wiring to the sub panel, Not sure what wire to use from the main braker box to the sub box have found different...

http://www.encorewire.com/docs/amp%20voltage.pdf is a diagram of what size wire and type you need for different amperage. As you can see the 10/3 recommendation is good for a maximum of 30 amps in copper and 25 in aluminum.

I haven't found the CKL36AR36 installation guide, so I don't don't know which circuit breaker size you need to install. But it should be listed in your installation guide that you got with your unit. Make sure that you have the correct disconnect within 6 feet of the unit to meet code.

I have a dean vendetta xm and it wont make sound through an amp they wiring is correct (checked through diagram provided by dean)

can be a number of things . i'll do my best with a check list. 1. Are they active pick ups.? (they need power source , usually 9 volt battery). 2. Check your cords. 3. check your amp. ( what i do, if you can, use a guitar that you know works. and check cords and amp with that. or try your guitar thru a different amp).AND THAT'S IF,. as you say your wiring is correct , and you've eliminated that part of it .I'd start with that

I have a leviton trimatron 6683 3-way switch with 4 wires, (from left to right) green, red, red, black. I can turn the light on & off at the switch across the room but I can't turn it on then with the...

There are a possible two problems you might have. First a quick explanation of 3-way systems. If you have a common 3-way system, one switch box will have the "Power End" and the other switch box will have a "Switch Leg" end (the wire that goes to the actual light fixture. Then inbetween the two boxes there will be two (usually red / black ) "travelers" that connect to the switch. http://www.electrical-res.com/EX/10-19-02/3-way-switch-wiring-diagram.jpg Here is a link to a standard 3-way system. In the picture, the switch on the left is the "power end" and the switch on the right is the "switch leg" end. the first thing to do is establish whether you are in the "power" or "switchleg" box. You can do this by completely disconnecting the dimmer, then test which wire has power using a voltage meter. (do not use a "hot stick"! the tester that beeps or lights up when it senses voltage. These can give you a false reading) Once you know which wire has power, go to the other switch and flip it. If the same wire still has power, then you are in the "Power" side of the 3-way, IF A DIFFERENT WIRE HAS POWER NOW, YOU ARE AT THE "SWITCH LEG" side of the 3-way. The most frequent mistake made while installing a 3-way switch is getting the common and travelers mixed up. If you are in the "Power end", the "common" (or connection to your dimmers black wire) should be the wire that had power no matter which position the other switch is in. If you are in the "switchleg" box, the "common" or black wire from the dimmer should connect to the third wire that DID NOT HAVE POWER no matter which position the other switch was in.
The second (and less common) mistake with 3-way systems and dimmers is that certain dimmers are REQUIRED to be on either the power or switchleg side to work properly. If this is required it should be stated in the instructions!. Good luck and feel free to reply if you're still having trouble getting it going.

Cant get wired internet on my ps3

A cable modem & a router are two different things. You can pick up a "Cisco 'EtherFast' cable/DSL" (wired or wireless) router at Wal Mart for $35. But you need both a modem & router to get your PS3 up & running on the web. Once you get on, you'll need to set up a "PlayStation" account. Unlike the Xbox 360 Live network, PlayStation is free of charge. It's a very user-friendly interface, so you shouldn't have any problems there. Cisco will give you live customer service to walk you through hooking up your router. Please let me know you make out. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Good luck, bro.

Car Audio System Drwing too much power with 2 different Amps

A dual voice coil speaker can be wired to be a 2 ohm speaker or an 8 ohm speaker depending on whether you wire it in series (8 ohm) or parallel (2 ohm). When you bridge your amp then the two channels will share the load from your speaker. If the speaker is wired as 8 ohm then each channel of the amp is driving a 4 ohm load which is fine. If you are bridged into a 2 ohm speaker then each channel will be driving a 1 ohm load, which is a very very heavy load. Is your amp designed to drive a 1 ohm load? If not then that would explain why you are having a problem.

First thing to look for would be pinched speaker wires,or a bad ground, or a loose b+ wire. The next would be to have the amp bench tested and the tech should bang and tap on the unit to see if there are bad or cold solder connections inside on the printed circuit board assy.
