Question about Acer Extensa 5620 Notebook PC
The fall likely dislocated the hard drive. If you are comfortable working on your laptop yourself (you may void the warantee, if any), you will need to locate the panel on the bottom that covers the hard drive. It may be labelled HDD. Open it and 'reseat' the hard drive. Reseat means essentially to unplug and plug back in. Put the panel back on and give it a try. Touch something metal that is grounded before opening it up to discharge any static built up on you before digging in.
