Best cpu upgrade for HP pavilion MS214 AIO PC

This sounds like a good idea, I would go for the upgrade, since I don't and very rarely have had an AMD system, I'm not 100% sure on which chips are compatible, as for the wattages, that's the thermal design power (TDP) or heat output so the PSU won't need to be changed out, heck, I have a 192.1W psu on a system that needs a 300W PSU, my CPU TDP is 110W, no issues there apart from energy efficiency of the PSU under full load!, your PSU should be fine, they're normally rated higher than the system needs under a load to improve efficiency, the load is best optimized at 50% but the PSU on your system under an intense load should be around 60% with the new chip which is pretty good if you ask me :)
in other words, go for the upgrade, get a chip that works from Amazon or EBay for a low price, then, if it isn't compatible, it won't be much of a a big loss... anyway, there's always overclocking, just get a more powerful cooler and crank that clock speed up, the chip should handle up to 2.08GHZ which is a really good overclock for a chip like that!, remember to stress test the system for at least 24 hors on an overclock with Prime95 (from Mersenne Prime search)
Good luck :)

I'd like to upgrade the graphics card in my Toshiba notebook Model Number 8375, Ser No PNB309032182... Which grahics cards would be suitable/compatable? I tend to watch online TV on demand, work with...

To make it simple on you:
1- If you have an intel built in graphics then for sure there is no way to upgrade because you have no graphics slot, be it agp or pci-ex, the graphics is within the chipset.
2- If you have a pci-ex then there is a slim possibility of (a) having the chip plugged in throw a socket and hence exchangable vs. being soldered in and unexchangable, (b) not having any compatibility issue with another chip. PCI-EX is not a standardized technology for notebooks, and thus each manufacturer has SEVERAL standards that they follow!

If you want for your model, let me know the graphics card installed in your notebook.

A8V-MXs are built for AMD processors. You will need a board made for Intel processors if you want to purchase the above processor. If you want to stick with Intel and Asus check out the P5 series of boards. If not, buy an AMD chip...I've had AMD in almost every one of my computers, laptops and desktops.

Good luck.
