Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

there are lots of factors to consider:
1. if you're using a firewall on your computer, you may want to allow yahoo to connect

2. another factor is your anti virus.

3. another is the os version you have on both computer.

4. programs running on the computers.

SOURCE: Each time I try to access yahoo mails on my

Your browser is saving all the data.

Depending on the browser, go to TOOLS/ then Options. They ALL have this but call it slightly different names.

Under settings change it so as to NOT save the details if others use the computer.

On mine I have it set so that it DOES save, as there are only the 2 of us, and we have full access to each others mail, docs, work etc.

SOURCE: I recently removed my computer (my user) password

Bruce, Windows Security does not have the ability to block and e-mail account. The real problem is, is that you just forgot what the password is.

Same thing you will get from your e-mail client like Outlook 2003 or 2007, if you can't provide the correct password.

Go to the login page of Ymail and use the link "I can't access my account". Answer the questions, follow the instructions, and provide an alternate e-mail address, and the password will be e-mailed to you.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding your e-mail problem.

Thank you and good luck!

SOURCE: ive entered wrong password 3 times so account

When it comes to password to login to an email account at yahoo / yahoomail, it does not matter how mnay times an incorrect password is entered, the email account will not be blocked.
What is happening, is that you are entering an incorrect email ID and/or password, and hence this is why you are unable to access your yahoo email account.
The only option is to click on the "Forgotten password" link on the yahoo mail's login page and then you will have to answer the security questions / answers, that you had set up againnst your yahoomail account, if these details match, then you can reset / recover your password, if these do not match, then, to be honest with you, nothing further can be done.

I forgot my password and can't get to my account

You should be able to conduct a recovery of your system by rebooting and following the steps which quickly follow for system setup before the operating system comes online. then use your recovery disk to help you get your user name and password reinstated. It would help if we had more information on your system and software.

Screen name on Hp 2000 says locked underneath it. Password tried too many times. Need to redo it with a new name and password

Not sure if this will work without some user's account being open, but try starting Task Manager. Press Ctrl/Alt/Delete. Press all 3 keys at the sme time. There should be a "reset password" option. But again, I don't know if you can do this unless a user is already signed in. If it doesn't work, the computer should have a "public" or "guest" account. When it wants your password, look for "change users". Click on that and select he guest, or public, or whatever it is labelled, account, and you'll be in the computer, but not in your owner's account. And if you try the task manager/change password from the guest account it may not let you do anything with your owner's account. If all else fails, call HP at 800-474-6836.

I can't log in to my account on my Dell PC?

Now which operating system are you running ?

Forgetting your Windows XP login details might at first seem like a disaster. Don't panic though; your login password and username are easily recovered by changing the login details to that of the administrator.

Begin with your computer turned off, and then turn it on. You will need to log in to your computer manually and this can only be done in the load-up screens. Wait until your computer reaches the Windows login screen. The screen usually displays a "Welcome" message. Press and hold the "Ctrl", "Alt" and "Delete" keys two times at the Windows login screen. Your computer will automatically reveal a Classic Login box. Type "Administrator" (without quote marks) into the "Username" field and leave the "Password" field blank. Windows automatically creates an Administrator account when your computer is first booted up; in this account you can alter or change any user's login details. Navigate through the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel." In the Control Panel explorer, double-click on the "User Accounts" icon to open a new window. Select "Change an Account" in the User Accounts window and select the username you want to alter. From here you can edit the user's name and password, but you can also alter the user's picture, account type and .NET password. Restart your computer to login with your new username and password.

Passwords add a level of security to your computer. When sharing a computer with others, your customized settings, computer programs, and system resources are more secure when you assign a password to your logon name or user account name. The steps to perform this task differ depending on whether your computer is a member of a network domain or is part of a workgroup (or is a stand-alone computer). My computer is on a domain You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might also prevent you from completing this procedure. Open User Accounts in Control Panel. On the Users tab, click the name of the user whose password you want to change, and then click Reset Password. In New password and Confirm new password, type the new password, and then click OK. Notes You can change passwords only for local computer accounts, such as guest, administrator, or accounts you create for your computer. You cannot change your network logon password in User Accounts. To change your own password, press CTRL ALT DELETE and then click Change Password. My computer is not on a domain If no password has been assigned to the user's account, a password will need to be created before it can be changed. For information about creating a password, click Related Topics. The steps to perform this task differ depending on the type of user account you have. If you have a computer administrator account Open User Accounts in Control Panel. Click your account name. Click Change my password. In Type your current password, type your current password. In Type a new password and Type the new password again to confirm, type your new password. You can also enter descriptive or meaningful text in Type a word or phrase to use as a password hint to help you remember your password. Click Change Password. If you have a limited account Open User Accounts in Control Panel. Click Change my password. In Type your current password, type your current password. In Type a new password and Type the new password again to confirm, type the new password. You can also enter descriptive or meaningful text in Type a word or phrase to use as a password hint to help you remember your password. Click Change Password. Notes A user with a computer administrator account can create and change passwords for all users on the computer. Users with limited accounts can create and change their own passwords, as well as create their own password hints. If a user with a computer administrator account changes the password for another user, that user will lose all EFS-encrypted files, personal certificates, and stored passwords for Web sites or network resources. Forgot my password how can i get into it ? i have a dell e5400

Try to log in using the account name administrator and no password.
If you cannot change the account name press CTRL+ ALT+DELETE two times then type administrator for the user name. Do not type a password in the password box just click OK and hope whoever set up the computer did not select a password. If this works procede to the next paragraph, if it did not restart your computer pressing the F8 key during the boot screen until you can select the safe mode.
When you get into windows select start then run. Type control userpasswords2, and then click OK. Select your user name which you forgot the password and select Reset Password. Type in a new password and slect OK. You now have a new password for that account.
