Its because the drivers of your web cam are not installled properly...you just need to install the drivers of your web cam from the cd and your web cam will function properly

My integrated camera is not installed. This happened after i reloaded my windows software pls help

Welcome to Fixya

Try installing the driver of your webcam first. You can check also if the webcam is being detected by the system. Go to control panel then click system icon. Go to hardware and click device manager. The webcam should be listed under imaging device. If there is no imaging device, try pressing Fn key then tap Esc key once. This will enable/disable the webcam of the computer.

Thank you for using Fixya!

Restart the computer then try the webcam if it works. If not, go to support website of dell then download the latest driver for the webcam, make sure that you have the right OS in the selection, uninstall the driver in device manager then install the new driver you downloaded. If the webcam still doesn't work check BIOS if the intergrated webcam is on or detected if it is off turn it on, if it is not detected you'll need to replace it, if you were able to turn it on you've done all the things above. try to reinstall the OS after that redo the procedure above and in that time if it still doesn't work. You'll end up replacing it again.

A4 tech 5M notebook webcam on hp pavilion notebook with integrated webcam - very blurry pic on new a4 webcam with skype - and not online just testing

I suggest you download the user manual from the CD and see how to set up the webcam before you go into Skype

Before you do that, check the image on another site to see how it looks
http://www.testmycam.com/
Hit "Allow" in top window and see the webcam transmission in the left hand panel.
