Your only recourse is to sue the washing machine manufacturer, unless the machine had recently been worked on, then the responsibility could fall on the repairman. You could also try suing the neighbour for negligence for not seeing that the machine was leaking etc.

Just another thought, consult a lawyer, you would need to if you are going to pursue this in a court in any case.

2006 Buick Rainier wiper control has a mind of it's own. What used to be turn down for wash, up once for slow int., med. int, etc., is now all over the place. What actually needs to be replaced?

You know if you can afford one a front loader would be a great wash machine to own. I have one and it saves me over $40.00 a month on my water usage.
It practically pays for itself.

Do I really need to buy home insurance?

Yes, you really do. "Not only will a good policy save you money in the event that something happens to your home or belongings, an insurance company can also help you with other matters, like making your home more resistant to natural disasters. And though having homeowners insurance isn't required by law, mostmortgagelenders require you to have homeowners insurance in order to borrow money from them. If you live in acondominiumorco-op, you may also be required by your tenants' association to have homeowners insurance. Even if you have a relatively new, well maintainedhouse, homeowners insurance can help you in situations that may not be preventable. Say, for example, that you are having a dinner party at your house. A group of guests is gathered on the back patio, and one of the guests trips on a loose tile and breaks his ankle. You, as the homeowner, are potentially liable for the guest's injury. The right homeowners insurance policy should protect you against legal action and pay for the injured man's medical bills." From

My Fisher & Paykel Ecosmart Washing machine cold water valve is stuck open. The washer overflowed for about 8 hours. I turned the water off.

Darn, well it is either the actual Solenoid, & Valve, or the Controller. I would check, both,MWC11,GW511,512,611-25p.pdf;topic=5943.0;...

Washer does not rinse & spindry after getting submerged in water.

everything needs to be checked from the timer control button to the motor, im guessing it agitated through the wash cycle but wont spin now right? your flood could have damaged any number of items... run through ( with the machine unpluged ) and test the components for continuity and/or resistance.

Kenmore front loader run with shipping bolts in

I would have sears replace the washer and also replace all the damage in your house. If it pulled out the drain hose there could be damage in there, if they are not willing to replace the machine then they should run a thorough diagnostic to make sure EVERYTHING is in working order, and still replace what is damaged to your house

Hiya ZEUS1009, judging by your symptoms, I feel certain that your problem is with the pump housing itself. It sounds as there is something stuck in the pump itself.
Normally a sock or similar....

If you feel confident with taking apart the pump.. please reply with make model etc.. and i will post you instructions. I stress that only if you feel confident!!! but is fairly straightforward... otherwise expect to pay around £30 upwards for the repair.. dependant on whre you live.

Do not have owners manual

just hit the "int" button in the middle of the handset (above the number 2) and the display should read "Paging Extension?" so then you type in the handset of the other phone. For example, my base station is downstairs (Ext 1) and my other phone is upstairs. I pick up the upstairs phone hit "int", then "1" and the phone downstairs will ring. I believe they are, by default, set to "1" and "2".
