What do you mean call forward? Do you have a TRANSFER button on the phone?
My Panasonic system has a HOLD and a TRANSFER button. I can press either one of them. HOLD will put the call on hold and give me intercom dialtone, so will TRANSFER. The difference is that if I call someone else from the TRANSFER dial tone, talk to them or not and hang up, they will get the call that just went on hold. The 3rd part of that, is if the call is on a DSS button, I can just press that and it's the same as TRANSFER and extension if the system is programmed for that.
Press the [Feature] [7] [0] (or simply press the [Transfer] button below phone display)
Dial the number where you want to transfer the call
Stay on line if wishing to speak to the person
Press the [Rls] button to complete the transfer
If an external call is transferred to a busy internal or network extension, or is not answered after a few rings, the call automatically rings you back.
Note: Use Link to transfer callers to a telephone number
To transfer calls, while on call press Conf/Trn and dial extension number. To Call forward your call to another extension there are three codes depending on what type of forwarding #601 - #604. Your guides and manuals are here http://guides.idacomusa.com/
Double check your phone number by calling another mobile and confirming what number comes up on their phone (my sister recently discovered she'd been giving friends the wrong and wondering why they couldn't call her...)!
Then try calling back using the "received calls" list from their phone. If it doesn't work, you'll need to contact your service provider as their is an incorrect setting in their network.
Well to place a call on Park:
-> you should answer the call -or- be on a call
-> press FEATURE 7 4
-> then look at the display as it will give you a park number
Anyone can pick up a phone now, then dial that park number which you've seen - to answer the call.
To Transfer:
-> you should answer the call -or- be on a call
-> press FEATURE 7 0
-> then dial the extension you want to transfer to...
Now you can either stay on the line to tell the person who you are transferring and then hang up the phone -or- just hang up after dialling the extension to complete the transfer.
sounds like the phone transfer numbering is out of sync or someone thinks its funny to send there transfered calls
i would go with the lessor of 2
phone numbering extensions example=
say you want to call someone at 2430 ext. but it takes you to 2340 that would be phone interupt extention box
the phone company who installed the software should come out and make sure the extensions are to the correct offices its there service but you pay for quality service to know and see it works
to send back calls just transfer back to secretary switch board the secretary will know what to do
And just what is it you would need from us??
