I have been having a problem logging onto my gmail email accounts, due to my inability to remember my password. I would like to cancel all of my current gmail email accounts, then start over

The first thing you need to be able to do I access your GMail accounts. Go to the GMail login page and login if you can, if not try password recovery to regain access to your account.

Once you have access, follow this link to complete the process for cancelling your account:

Windows error messages

"Operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer"

start >run>regedit
go to: REGEDIT - registry editor
When in registry editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER – right click for permissions
Advanced Security Settings under 1st tab permissions
You will probably get this error message, "You can't remove restricted because this object is inheriting permissions from its parent.
To remove restricted, you must prevent this object from inheriting permissions. Turn off the option for inheriting permissions, and then try removing RESTRICTED again.
· Unclick: include inheritable permissions from this object’s parent
· Windows security warning: options to add/ remove/ cancel
· Click Remove inherited parent permissions
Denied all access
Continue – delete restricted
Once removed,
Follow this path in registry editor:
Right click (Default)
Change value data from (in my case Chrome – it could be Firefox as well):
From: ChromeHTML To: htmlfile
From: FirefoxHTML To: htmlfile
Repeat steps for .htm, .shtml, .xht if they exist

if this is a laptop check if this problem only occurs at certain places. For example if it is only at your home it may be an issue with a router, modem or even your ISP. See if you can bypass the router and connect your computer directly to the modem. Try to restart once connecting to be sure. If you are connecting without the router you may need to check the filters or open up ports. This would depend on the site those links are going to.
If the same issue occurs even at the office it may be a setting at your computer. Normally problems with links your email is diverted to the junk. At the top of these email it should prompt you to enable access to the link. See if you can enable them. You may do the same process for different links or programs but be careful. Only enable those you are familiar with.

Cant access my control pannel

"Canceled due to restrictions on your computer" means that the administrative account has not allowed you to access all features. See to it that whoever else uses that computer knows that you are blocked out, at least one of them is the admin.

Clicking on links in email don't work

Links in an email in the Junk folder will never work. It is set this way to protect you. However if you are clicking a link in an email in the Inbox, right click the link and then click "Open Hyperlink". Once you do that the links on emails in your Inbox should work from now on. If not, is IE your default browser? If not make it so. If that does not work open Internet Options >> Control Panel >> Programs Tab >> Reset Web Settings.
