My 2005 uplander wont start, sometimes it tries to but... nothing. it cranks, acts like its not getting fuel. is it the throttle body, iac, relay or fuel pump, what???

I would first suspect the fuel pump. Do you hear it buzz on for a couple seconds with turning the key to ON, not start?
It should come on for 2 seconds to prime the line with pressure to the engine. Do you hear it? Stand by the gas tank and have someone cycle the key to on if you need to.
If you hear nothing from the tank, you need to investigate the fuel pump and it's circuit.
There will be a fuse for the fuel pump, it is under the hood in the power distribution box-the fuse/relay block. The power for the pump goes from that fuse to the fuel pump relay (also in that fuse/block) and when the engine computer signals that relay on, the power goes through the relay and then directly to the pump in the tank.
Try this test, if your pump doesn't work-test the FPR-to test if the relay is getting a signal from the computer: hold your finger lightly on the relay. now have a helper cycle the key again from off to on (not start). Every time the key is cycled you should feel the click of the relay energizing. If you feel it click and you checked the fuse and it is good, and you still have no pump coming on, then it is likely you need a new pump. Bang on the bottom of the tank, a couple of raps, then see if pump turns on. A failing pump can sometimes be turned on by jolting it like this, but it only works a time or two or three.
So now what? If the pump is working and putting fuel to the engine, then check for spark at a spark plug. Usually a sudden no start means the engine has lost either gas or spark.

Double relay

Check car relay and check car problem with obd2 diagnostic tool, it is quickly and easy at OBD Tools 365 Days Shop
Find the particular relay you want to test. Depending on the circuit it controls, the relay may be located under the dashboard or inside the engine compartment in a junction block.
Turn the ignition switch to on to energize the particular circuit you are testing, if necessary.
Connect the alligator clip from a test light to any good ground on your vehicle. Probe the wire coming out of the relay and going to the component with the tip of the test light. If the bulb in the test light glows, there is voltage, and your relay is working properly.
Probe the wire or wires feeding voltage to the relay with the test light following the same procedure used on the previous step. If the light glows, there is incoming voltage. Otherwise, the relay is not receiving voltage. Check the voltage source.
Switch the ignition key off. Unplug the relay from its electrical connector, making sure not to break the locking tabs on the relay.
Identify the relay's power and control terminals. Some relays show a circuit diagram on top of the case to identify these terminals.
Check for continuity between the two power terminals using an ohmmeter. There should be no continuity. If there is continuity, replace the relay.
Connect a jumper wire between the battery positive terminal and one of the control circuit terminals on the relay. Connect the other control terminal to ground with another jumper wire. If you do not hear a click as you make the second connection, reverse the connections. If you still do not hear a click, replace the relay.
Connect the jumper wires as you did on the previous step. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between the two power terminals. If there is continuity, the relay is working properly. Otherwise, replace the relay.

New batrery, no spark, no fuel. pulled front bank of plugs not sign of fuel or hear from spark. Just replaced a top coolant hose that was leaking. Engine turns over strong.

try swapping your PCM power relay with another relay in the relay box (engine compartment by the battery).
The PCM relay powers the fuel and ignition systems, as well as the PCM. Let me know if this doesn't work or you have more questions.

Here's something to try, it's actually the drum reset and if it's the drum that needs replacing then this will get you going again. Just remember that if you reset this that eventually the drum will start having quality issues because you will be using it past its end of life cycle getting more use out of it then normal and it won't hurt the machine either... hope this helps and if so, please mark Fixya

1) Turn off the power using the switch on the back of the printer. Open the front door of the printer.

2) Hold Continue button down, power on the printer, and continue to holding Continue down until the LEDs begin to flash. When the LEDs start to flash, release Continue button. The LEDs will continue flashing until only Error LED will be lit.

3) Close the front door. Continue, Ready/Data, Toner Low and Load Paper LEDs should be lit.

4) Wait till the printer completes the POST process. POST is complete when fan noise and rollers stop. After POST wait for 5 seconds

5) Press Cancel button 4 times slowly until the Toner Low LED is lit. This is the procedure resetting the counter.

6) Press and hold Continue until all LEDs begin to cycle in sequence, then release Continue. Now only the Toner Low LED will be lit.

7) Cycle the power of the printer (turn it off and then back on).

Cant turn my w202 head lamps on from the switch

Check out your main lights relay and the associated fuse. If you have someone switch the lights on whilst your under the hood you should be able to hear the relay 'click' as the contacts are brought together. If the relay is dead check that when the switch is turned on that power is getting through to the relay. If the relay is clicking check that power is coming out of the Switched circuit. Now check the fuse, note this will only carry power if the dashboard switch is on and the relay is functioning. Check your bulbs

Running fine then now wont start, fuel pump or will the fuel relay module cause the car to get no gas

More likely the fuel pump.........check for power to the pump on the gray wire at the fuel pump connector at the tank.(wires from the tank)You should see a prime cycle voltage as you turn the key on...if the key has been off 15 seconds. If you see a test light, light.......change the fuel pump.
Tip....a lot of relays are the same in the relay center....switch the fuel pump relay for one of the (same) others to test it if needed.

Before you do this....sit in the car and turn on the key to run.....not start.......do you hear the pump do it's prime cycle?
Total silence means.......in 99% of cases...a new fuel pump is needed.
If you hear it.......no pump should be needed....look elsewhere first.

The ecm will cycle the fuel pump relay when you start it and then the oil pressure sending unit will continue to supply power to the pump after the engine starts.

Truck will not even crank over to start

Test for voltage at small wires on starter solenoid, by the stud on the starter, when someone trying to start. You should have power to it, or one of them, when key is cycled to start position, and none when you let go. If power there, my guess is your solenoid. May have to take starter off & bench test it. If no power to there, locate that relay you hear clicking, and check it, for constant power source going in, and one or more coming out when key cycled, which should be power source for wire at solenoid on starter.
