This would be a problem with your internet browser. Go to your internet option and on the 'general' tab on the home page line enter http://www,facebook.com

How do i get facebook, yahoo, gmail back on to home page

Well your homepage can only be one website so just do this for Google Chrome:
1.Click on the tool icon2. go to bookmarks3. then go up to basics4. in the first section select homepage and type in the Web address
For Internet Explorer(IE) do this:
1.open up IE2. go to the homepage you want3. right click on the home icon4. then add or change homepage5.use this webpage only as your homepage
I don't know how to do it for Firefox, but the ones i did are most commonly used so Hope this helps : ), and if not please leave a comment so I can look into it further.

I have Firefox and had Yahoo for my homepage and tool bar. Something changed it to the MSN Bing tool bar. I switched back to Yahoo Home Page but I don't know how to change the tool bar.

If you go to Tools on top of the Browser and then add-ons then to extensions you can scroll through them until you get to the Bing bar on the right hand side you will see where you can disable or uninstall it . I hope this is what you are after

My facebook homepage is not showing properly, even after entering username and password, it don't work.

You need to report that to FACEBOOK. tell them you forgot your password and you will be told to answer some security questions and you would be told to change your password. please try that. thanks

Facebook has taken over my website, want to remove facebook

Hello and welcome to fixya.

If you are referring to the default home page that shows immediately when you open up internet explorer, firefox or any other browser, you can un-set facebook from your default HomePage very easily like this:

1. Internet Explorer 8 (and earlier versions): Go to Tools-->Internet Options-->Then to the first tab ("General") replace the part that says http://www.facebook.com with any link of your choice (eg: www.google.com or www.bing.com)

2. Firefox (all versions): Go to Tools-->Options-->Then to general tab the Startup section reads "Home Page" to a point and this is set also to http://www.facebook.com. Again, replace this with a link of your own choice (google or bing).

Regards from FixYa.

Thanks.

Lost my yahoo mail, bing took over and i lost my emails

Hi,

Looks like your homepage has changed to Bing. In the addressbar, type in www.yahoo.com and press enter.

It should take you to the Yahoo screen, on the left hand side you can click on the mail icon.

If this is what you are referring to, you can change this to your homepage again. Go to Tools, Internet Options and then click on "Use Current" under the Homepage heading

Hope this helps, pls rate the solution

Everytime i log in it takes me to bing and not my homepage

This is likely a cache or cookies problem. To fix it, please follow the instructions below carefully:
  1. Please clear your mobile device’s cache and cookies (even if you have already done this). You can usually do this from an option menu when your mobile browser is open. Please consult your phone's user guide to determine how to do this on your particular device.
  2. Enter facebook.com as a new URL, rather than using a bookmark or a link. Log out of Facebook if you have the option.
  3. Enter your normal login details to log in. Please note that passwords are case sensitive
fingers crossed for you!

I get oops! This link appears broken. Happens with Google and Google Chrome. Could it be a virus? I also cannot search msn.com using Bing?

No, it is probably not a virus. Links are addresses for other pages that may not be typed correctly, or the web site/page was moved or no longer exists. (See below for clarification on unexpected results.) If you use MS Explorer, it allows you to choose primary search engines. After updating Explorer, you can keep Google as primary, but Bing will be easily accessed by clicking on the Google Icon in the search box. A menu will drop down and show Bing as an option. Also, you should be able to type Bing into any search engine and search from the Bing homepage. If you are clicking on a bing search on the MSN home page and being blocked, I'll betcha Microsoft would love to know that. Lastly, there is such a thing as Browser Hijackers. If you click on something or suddenly find yourself in an unexpected place after using a trusted search engine, that would be a hint. The solution is to keep all software updated to avoid lapses in security that allow Bugs into your system.
