Check that the arm outlet jets at the trailing end of the arms are not blocked with food particles and other solid matter. This often happens and the arm is unable to turn because the water jet that is supposed to drive the arm does not have the force to rotate it.

The spray arms aren't spinning, any ideas?

The main water pump sounds to be defective, not supplying enough water pressure to turn the spraybars.

How do you know when the pressure relief valve needs replaced

If it's leaking water replace it. Pull the arm up and see if water passes out the drain pipe. If it stops when you push the arm back down you're good to go.

Dwd4311 dishes on top tray are not being washed, I think that it is not lining up with the top tray water outlet

I have some problems with my DWD4311 not giving clean results. It has improved it's cleaning ability if I push the top tray all the way to the back before switching on the wash. The water supply for the top spray arm is provided at the back of the washer and if the top tray is not pushed to the back I think a lot of water is wasted and the top arm does not get enough water pressure to do a good clean. I also think that this wasted water means that the water pressure for the lower arm is reduced also. So try pushing the top tray back as far as it goes before switching on. Good luck everyone.

The water is not getting to the top wands

you need to replace the water conduit that runs from the base pump area up the back wall to the center and top wash arms, the "water horn" that feeds the center arm when the drawer is pushed in gets leak by and this in turn lowers water pressure to the center and top wash arms, replace the whole conduit as its not that expensive, and while doing this clean out and blockages from food in the spray arm holes too

Doesn't clean, lower arm seems really loose

Even if this is loose the water pressure must be maintained. So checck if the pump is pushing the pressure if not remove and test outside to clean and reset.
Now the second part is to tighten the arm movement , must look into why the arm has come off and if there is a leak in this section reducing the water pressure. Nothing like a first hand view to decide.
Possible the rotation arm has wearing( if set is OLD).
Try for a replacement arm section if this section does not respond to fix.

Starts ok wrench appears heats ok wash cycle pressure strong at first then fades wrench appears -p2 -cleaned screens and checked spray arms .incoming water pressure 20 psi whats wrong ?

Check the spray arm. Machine water pump. After this pump pressure
builds up to the spray arm. Rubber hosejunction inside the wash tub.
This place gets connected to the spray arm system.
You can see this when you draw the tray for loading vessels.
Slowly push it and watch the junction where this gets locked into the
rubber hose mouth inside the wash tub. There should not be any
water pressure leak.

Apparently no water pressure to upper washing arm.

Hi sounds like there is a blockage in the circulation pump which causes low water pressure as it cannot push the water around. You would have to remove the unit and turn on it's side and remove the circulation pump to clear the blockage.

Also check all the holes in your spray arms for any blockages. Best to remove each arm and clean in the sink. Any blockages causes the arms not to turn.

arms should turn freely. spray arms are only rotated by water spraying out from angled jets at end. check for blockage in spray arms - sweet corn and rice are the worst offenders. take spray arms off and run water in centre hole and see it runs out of all the jets freely
