Question about Maisto Harley Davidson 1997 XLH Sportster 1200
Is it running and idling OK?
You should not have a totally clean front plug. It should be tan, like a paper bag.
Do a quick/free check - It is possible that your front cylinder is running too lean due to an air leak. You can diagnose an air leak by running propane or spraying WD-40 around the intake while running. If you hear a change in engine speed, you have a leak. Tighten everything up, ride for a bit and check your plugs again.
If that's not it, the rear cylinder is not completely burning - not enough spark energy. If you have not replaced your plug wires in awhile, it's probably time to do so. Replace the spark plugs of course, and inspect the coil terminals for corrosion.
