Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

The short answer is based on amount of fluid needed at the delivery point(s) and at what pressure that fluid needs to be at those points. If it is a pool pump the answer changes slightly since a pool is a closed loop system and you are more concerned with the turnover rate of the water in order to keep it clean. Is there a specific application you need help with? If so please add a comment to this post and I'll see what I can do to assist.

If this answer does not fix your problem, please comment with additional details prior to rating the answer. You may also contact me thru our website at www.arrowmotor.net. Positive feedback is appreciated once your problem is solved!

How to graph more than one equationTI-84 Plus Calculator

In order to select additional graphs, the Transformation Graphing Application will need to be uninstalled from the TI-83 Plus Family and TI-84 Plus Family. Uninstalling the Application does not erase it from the calculator, it disables it from interfering with the normal graphing modes. Below are the steps to successfully uninstall the Application.
• Press [APPS] key
• Select Transfrm from the menu

I have attempted to transfer an inequalz app from on TI 84 plus calc. to another TI 83 plus via the black serial cable. I get the following on the screen of both calculators. ERR:memory 1:Quit 2: Goto...

The problem may be due to a lack of memory in the receiving calculator. Check size of the Inequalz application, the size of the archive memory left on the TI83 Plus, and the number of application spaces that Inequalz requires. An application may require 1,2 or more application spaces. You will have to go to education.ti.com to get the information.
Also, make sure that the batteries are good in both calculators.

The ram was erased from my TI-84 calculator, how can I get it reinstalled to my calculator through my computer

The RAM is the working memory. Its size is about 24 kB. Applications and other archived programs are stored elsewhere. What was in RAM and was erased, you cannot recover.
If you lost applications, just go to education.ti.com Download apps and programs, and download applications to your computer, then transfer them to the calculator.
You can do the same for programs you got from the Internet. Anything you typed ypurself must be reentered. Sorry, but that is the way it is.

Change language

The TI83 PLUS doe not originally come with localization application for other languages. But the apps can be installed on the calculator.

If you want to use another language than English, go to education.ti.com/downloads/software and apps and download the desired language application on the computer and transfer it to the calculator by means of a cable and TIconnect software. Once installed on calculator run the language app and select the new language.

If however you have already done that before and now you want to revert to English, then run the language application again and select [2:English]

Cause 1 A number of large applications are installed on the BlackBerry smartphone. Resolution To resolve this issue, complete the following steps: Make sure that the BlackBerry® Device Software is installed on the computer to display the correct total application space. Determine the application space that is available on the BlackBerry smartphone by completing the following steps: Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer. Open the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager. Double-click Application Loader. At the Device Application Selection screen, under the application selection window, note the total application space. Note: Select the List additional applications that are installed on the connected device check box to include the applications that are installed outside of the BlackBerry Device Software applications and the file sizes. Remove applications that are not required. For example, remove additional language packs and themes. Cause 2 A large amount of BlackBerry smartphone user data is present on the BlackBerry smartphone that cannot be removed by the Low Memory Manager. Resolution To resolve this issue, complete the following steps: On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options > Status. Display the menu, and select Database Sizes. Reduce the number of items that are increasing the size of the database. For example, if the Address Book database is large, remove out-of-date contacts. If the Content Store database is large, move media files from the BlackBerry smartphone memory to a media card. Cause 3 Media settings may contribute to low memory capacity. Resolution Modify the Device Memory Limit settings by completing the following steps: On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Media. Select a media application. Display the menu, and click Options. Set the Device Memory Limit to the lowest setting field. Display the menu, and click Save. Note: Some BlackBerry smartphones have integrated cameras without a media card. As a result, some features have been added to handle picture storage on the BlackBerry smartphone, including the following: · Reserved Pictures Memory: In BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0, the default value setting is 10 MB. In BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 - 4.7, the default value setting has been reduced to 2 MB. This setting reserves memory for pictures that the BlackBerry smartphone might take, and reduce the File Free amount that is displayed in the BlackBerry smartphone. This makes sure that the BlackBerry smartphone has memory available for pictures that are taken when a media card is not inserted in the BlackBerry smartphone. · Device Memory Limit: The default value setting is 20 MB. This prevents the BlackBerry smartphone from storing more than the specified amount of memory use. Cause 4 An application has expanded beyond intended memory boundaries. Resolution Note: In the Java® operating environment, applications increase and reduce memory usage when the applications launch, run required processes, and close processes. An application may use more memory than it is intended to use. Please make note of the values outlined in the following steps: On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options. Click Status and note the values listed for File Free and File Total. Divide each of these two values by 1024, so that they are measured in kilobytes (KB). Record the new values, and name them as Displayed File Free and Displayed File Total. Display the menu, and click Database Sizes. Record the value shown in the Total Size field at the top of the screen. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, then open the application loader tool. Click Next on the Welcome screen. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and allow the application loader tool to detect it. You might be prompted to type a password. Click Next on the Device Application Selection screen. Verify that the List additional applications that are installed on the connected device check box is selected. Record the value for the Total application space, located at the bottom of the window. Calculate the Reserved Pictures Memory for BlackBerry smartphones that have integrated cameras. If a camera is not integrated, proceed to step 12. On the BlackBerry smartphone, open the Media application. Display the menu, and click Options. Note the Reserved Pictures Memory value and multiply that value by 1024. Record the value. For example, 2 MB * 1024 = 2048. To calculate the Total Amount of Memory In Usage, add the values for Total Application Space, Total Size, and Reserved Pictures Memory (if applicable). To get the Calculated File Free value, subtract the value for Total Amount of Memory In Usage from the Total Flash Memory supported by the BlackBerry smartphone.

Pump Size How to Calculate

Pump Size Calculation: Gauging the correct size for your water garden pump will ensure your pond receives the proper water circulation. Unless the pump you buy is already configured with a built-in fountain head, you'll need to calculate how much a pump can handle before you choose a certain size or model. A good rule of thumb is that pumps should be able to pump out about half the pond volume every hour. So a pump that moves 500 gallons per hour would be appropriate for a 1,000 gallon pond. In order to determine the size pump you'll need, you must calculate several key measurements.
