Question about Samsung Cell Phones

My new Samsung Galaxy Tab is currently stuck to a screen, no response to off button nor any movement on the screen or the home or refresh buttons. What do I do to unfreeze the unit?

Most tablets have a force shutdown, this is normally as simple as holding the power button for up to 30 seconds or pulling out the battery

Stuck on power off screen,,no response samsung tab 4


Try holding down the home button at the bottom of the screen, and at the same time, hold down the Volume Up button and the Power button. Keep holding them down for 30 seconds. Your tablet may then re-boot. You should be good to go then.

1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.
The Galaxy Tab should then go through the hard reset process.
If you have access to the OS, you can also perform a hard reset in Settings.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Select Privacy.
3. Choose Factory data reset

Hi samsung gio won't start stuck in first samsung screen and can't log to recovery mode it gives ramdump and stuck


ram dump if your press vol up+power+home button, but if you wanna go to download mode you must press vol down+home+power button.

it stuck on first screen called boot loop, solution is reinstall or flash new rom on your phone,

I forgot my password for my samsung galaxy tablet


hi ,
1st want to tell you that you have lost your data and all thing, but you have free your device from password.

do this steps
  • Make sure tab is turned off, Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds to turn it off.
  • Press and hold the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons at the same time, when logo appears on the screen release the "Power" button and continue press the "Volume" button
  • When recovery screen appears use "Volume Up/Down" buttons to navigate and select "wipe data / Factory reset" by pressing the "Home" or "Power" button (Depends on Galaxy Tab model).

My Tab will not turn on. It gets stuck on the verizon wireless


do one thing Turn Off Your Tablet
-> Hold Volume Button and Power button for 3 to 5 Secs -> You will see a screen with android and triangle with exclamation mark -> you will also see 4 lines of writing in blue. -> use volume buttons to navigate to 3rd option, use home to select it ( warning this will erase your system data if need please take backup) (memory card is not affected) -> now navigate to 1st option saying " reboot to system" use home key to select it.
I hope this will fix things

Hey there,
In order ot hard reset your Samsung Galaxy Tab you need to perform the following steps: Be aware that this will erase everything!
1. Turn the device off 2. while the device is turned off press and hold the volume up button and the power button 3. release the power button when you see the samsung logo appear. (Do not let go of the volume up button until you see the recovery screen) 4. use the volume button to naviagte through the menu until you find an option titled Wipe data / Factory reset 5. once you fin that option, highlight it and press the home button. 6. press the volume up button to continue
Your galaxy tab will now start the hard reset process, do not touch anything until it is complete
