As you know, the Razor is a flip phone. There are two silver "bolts" or hinges will allow the phone to be opened and closed. One of the bolts fell out (and is lost). This makes the flip part of the phone (screen part) loose and wobbly....although the phone still works.
Does Motorola have this "bolt" or do I need an entirely new phone. The telephone was NOT dropped or mishandled in any way. It is in perfect condition, except for this missing piece.

The newest flip phone models that I know of from Motorola were both released in 2012. They are the Motosmart Flip XT611 and the GLEAM+ WX308. The Flip XT611 supports 3G networks. The Gleam+ only has a 2G band. A complete list of Motorola phones is available here: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola-phones-4.php . The above models were on page 2 with the list sorted by time of release. Unfortunately the brick phones are getting more popular.
There's a tiny magnet in the top of the flip, near the hinge.. try taking a small magnet and hold it over the keypad near the hinge, and see if it doesn't think it's closed, if that magnet didn't get put back in the flip, then the phone won't know it's closed.
Moto RAZR phones are notorious for this. Best thing to do - Get a new phone. Inside of the hinge, there is a sensor that detects if the phone is open or shut. When you open the phone, it still thinks its closed, so the screen stays white, and if im correct the outside display should still work. Pretty much not-fixable unless you know someone who can take it apart and re-position the sensor (will void the warranty)
ta the back of your open, open the cover where your battery is located from there you will some screw bolt on it, you better have a precesion tools to remove it, after taking it out you can flip the sidings so that the plastic slide lock be unlock, then you can have access on your speaker
This is a common issue with the Moto Razor and can only be fixed by replacing a part. This phone uses different speakers for speaker phone and talk modes.....If you have an old razor laying around that is the same model, you can use its speaker if you believe or can prove it works......otherwise you can buy one for a few bucks. Here is a randomly selected site that sells these parts. 1. Remove the 4 plugs over the screws on the flip top and the screws themselves. 2. pop the top apart and up at the top you sill see where the speaker just sits in there. 3. Replace it the way you saw it in there 4.put it back together Now you can hear your friends without speaker phone!!! Good Luck!!!! ANd pls rate this post
the hinge is the middle of the phone where the top and bottom of the phone meet think of it this way if u close ur razor the top of the phone is the hinge its the things where it has two shiney cirlces on each sides hope that advice helps thanx.
