Im trying to download net flix on my wii and im getting the error code 52031...what does that mean?

Error 52031: It's possible that the wireless security pass code for your home network may have been changed or is entered incorrectly on the Wii console.

However if you're using Wi-Fi to connect to the internet, your ISP may be blocking the ports allowing you to use netflix from your WII. You may need to contact you ISP in order to verify this problem.

I got error 52032 when I tried to connect to Netflix. I reentered my wireless information and still got the same error.

Error Code 52030, 52031, 52032
It appears that your Wii console's Internet connection may be affected by wireless interference. Try the following:
    • Change your wireless router's channel to 1 or 11
Changing the wireless channel on your router may help. Most wireless routers have a channel range of 1 through 11. The best channels to try are usually 1 and 11, as they do not overlap with other channels. Typically, the channel settings for your router will be found in the router's main "Wireless" tab.
    • Where is your wireless router located?
Move your router away from walls and off the floor and try to place it in a central location in your home. Also, keep it away from metal objects such as metal filing cabinets which can cause interference.
    • Look for other devices
Noise from cordless devices (cordless phones), or wireless electronics (wireless keyboards, headphones, cell phones), especially those using the 2.4GHz frequency, can interfere with your wireless signal. Also, older microwave models can cause wireless interference. Avoid electronics that use the 2.4GHz frequency, instead look for devices that use the 5.8GHz or 900MHz frequencies.

Error code: 52031

hello. good day. this error appears when you are unable to connect to your wireless network. the reason could be that your security settings entered into your Wii are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow, or your router is not able to assign the Wii an IP address. to fix this make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Wii exactly as they appear in your router's settings. hope this helps. goodluck!

Trying to connect wii to enternet. Recieved code 52031

This error message is usually due to an incorrect security passcode being entered for your wireless network. Double check and make sure you've got the right passcode.

It appears that your Wii console's Internet connection may be affected by wireless interference. Try the following:

The best channels to try are usually 1 and 11, as they do not overlap with other channels. Typically, the channel settings for your router will be found in the router's main "Wireless" tab.

Look for other devices
Noise from cordless devices (cordless phones), or wireless electronics (wireless keyboards, headphones, cell phones), especially those using the 2.4GHz frequency, can interfere with your wireless signal. Also, older microwave models can cause wireless interference. Avoid electronics that use the 2.4GHz frequency, instead look for devices that use the 5.8GHz or 900MHz frequencies.

WEP / WPA Troubleshooting

If you've tried the above steps to reduce interference and you're still experiencing problems, it's possible that the wireless security pass code for your home network may have been changed or is entered incorrectly on the Wii console.
