Question about Oster Golden A5 2-Speed Universal Motor Clipper 78005-140
This is a great clipper but the blade can be tricky to reseat. Just pop off the blade using the thumb spring near the bottom of the blade, however do not pop straight off! Instead pull the blade up towards you before removing. This should angle up the metal tongue so it is easy to replace the blade. Next you can lubricate any moving parts but be sure to both remove any excess hair first. Also use only oil made for clippers since other types might evaporate and lead to corrosion.
When you're ready to replace the blade make sure it slides onto the tongue and then to seat it properly turn on the motor and snap into place!
