Question about Sentry Fireproof Safe
When you have replaced the battery the previous code got reseted or it got corrupted - despite the manufacturer claims that this doesn't happens. You will need to program it again.
Since you didn't mentioned the exact model all i can give you are the generic Sentry instructions. You need first to erase the bad one: press the Prog key and enter the factory code twice then wait a minute. After that press Prog again and enter a new code , wait a minute and test it. The exact procedure is in the manual. If you no longer have it you can get it from here
If this fails it means that there is a hardware defect in the electronics of the safe - you will have to contact the Sentry service center, they are the only ones authorized to work on it.
