SOURCE: Unlocking a ZTE Vodafone 125 GSM Handset

The reason why the phone is asking for a code is because its detecting a new sim. It's asking for a security code- every brands of phone has it for security everytime you insert a different simcard. If you surf at website of ZTE, try to log at their URL for security code reference. I'm kinda not familiar for the security code of your phone. Unlike Nokia handsets, its default security code is 12345. For Sony Ericsson, its 0000.
I hope my suggestion will help you with your problem. Good day.

Vodafone co uk simswap

If you have up your SIM in a Vodafone store, it'll already be activated for you. You can just insert it into the mobile phone and start using it.
If you ordered a free SIM online, you'll need to call 17298 free from your Vodafone mobile to activate it.
Note: Before activating (registering) a Vodafone SIM card, make sure that the mobile phone is locked to Vodafone network or free from network restriction. If it is locked to any other network, you need to unlock it in prior. You can unlock a mobile phone safer and easier using unlock code. If your mobile phone is a Blackberry model, You can visit UnBBLock.Com to get the unlock code. If your mobile phone is from any other model, visit Mobile-Unlocker.com to get the unlock code. Good luck.

Phone says insert sim in any mobile

Ask your Vodafone carrier at helpline. And if its related to network unlocking then you have to order codes from shop or online.

I advise if you need network unlock codes then try this store: http://www.guaranteedunlock.com/Vodafone_Unlocking

They are reliable and expert in network unlocking.

hi restriction codes is nothing but your mobile is locked to particular network.due to this it accepts
only the particular Sim when ever other network Sim is inserted it shows Sim restricted .there are many ways
to solve this problem we can use software, cable ,codes etc....among them codes are the best .to get the codes
you can visit here mobileunlocksolutions
Here they ask the following details before rendering the unlock codes they are
1. Mobile model
2. Country from where you brought the mobile
3. Provider to which the mobile is locked
4. Imei number of the mobile
Finally they will send you the unlock codes .once you entered the code in your mobile as
for the instruction given by them .your mobile get unlocked and it accepts any network sim.

After inserting a vodafone sim card, it's asking for pin.only emergency calls can be made without a pin

You need to find out what network the handset is on. You may need a network unlock code and this you will be able to get from the handset network in order for the handset to accept the vodafone sim.

Hope this helps

I need unlocking lg u890

i had a lg u890 mobile phone that i got unlocked but it had the same proble where i swithched on my phone it used to ask for the usim code..my old phone was locked to the 3 nt/wrk i got it unlocked so i could use my 3 nt/wrk sim card or any network simcard but i used vodafone 3g sim card.the code i used with my vodafone 3g network simcard in phone when switched phone on & it asked for usim sim code i inserted code i got & it shut the phone down then on again then it wld work with vodafone no bother at all it even came up with vodafone uk etc.but i had to reconfigure the sms/text telephone number aswell as reconfigure the mms settings & numbers etc aswell as reconfigure wap settings from 3g network to vodaphones.but after i got it all unlocked & settings changed etc & inserted a different 3g network simcard ie vodaphone/orange/o2/3g sim/t-mobile/tesco sim/virgin sims & switched phone on it asked for usim code i tryed the code i have & inserted the same code i have it/they switched phone off & then back on & all network usim card worked with no problems at all.the code i have is.>>> 142358#*# thats 142358# * # all 1 item/action.once you insert that 142358#*# thats it your phone will shut down then restart up & go onto the network usim card you want to use or inserted before using code.but 1 thing tho please remember if u switch off your phone or your phone switches off as batterys run out no power u will need to insert the code again.& another thing code wont work if your phone switches off or you switch it off & plug your mobile battery charger into phone to charge your battery up on the phone & you switch you phone back on when you are charging your phone as the phone will switch on & say insert usim code if you enter the code the phone will switch off & back on again but it will still request usim code.so you will have to wait unto there is plenty of charge in the battery to take phone off charge & swithch your phone on get the usim code message insert code above phone will switch off & straight back on again & then it will go onto your prefured usim card then you can plug your charger into phone again to charge phone up.you can use your phone on charger when u have entered usim code & it switched off & on again & registered with the prefered network.i hope this is of use to you as it is to me.if you try this code & either if it works or not please can you let me knows ty.email watsonwhizzy2001@yahoo.com
