no vehicle make model. year supplied so the answer is generic but applies to most vehicles toe in is 1/8 -1/4 inch
caster 1 to 1 1/2 degrees and camber 1/2 2 degrees ( all measurements are positive
tire wear is the best guide to wrong alignment
wear on the inside or outside of the tire tread is alignment and toe -in
in the middle or on the outsides of the tread is pressure problems
wheel wobble at speeds ( 30mph up ) is castor adjustment, loose tie rod ends , ball joints and if the castor is approaching negative setting , will, not recenter the wheel after cornering
I suggest that you take the vehicle to an accredited suspension/ wheel alignment shop with experience on your make of vehicle and have it inspected
good shops will recommend that the rear is checked/ adjusted first as much front tire wear can be traced to the back being out
Could be a number of issues here.
Caster bearings need cleaning\replacement
Fork bearings need cleaning\replacement.
Drive Tires could be too low and need air.
Motors were not properly mounted to gearbox and/or motor coupler is damaged.
Too much crud is wrapped around a wheel - obstruction.
The VSI controller isn't flashing a code so you are electrically connected to the motors, brakes and batteries. Problem appears to be mechanical - not electrical.
This mnaual wheelchair has dual position rear axles and caster forks to allow seat to floor height changes with no additional components. What this means is that the wheelchair is adjustable in height based upon the position of the front caster wheel axles and rear wheel axles. Raising the axles lowers the chair. Lowering the axle postion raises the chair. If the rear axles of the rear wheels are in the top position you can lower the wheels and raise the chair. Likewise, if the caster axles of the front wheels are in the top hole of the fork then put the wheels and axles in the lower hole to raise the chair. It is easy to accomplish this with basic tools.
If the front and rear wheels are already in the lower holes (the chair is in its highest position) you have another option. This option is a more expensive way to raise the chair by buying 4 new wheels. Lets say for example you have 24" diameter rear wheels. If you purchase new 26" diameter wheels you will raise the chair 1". If you have 6" casters and put on 8" casters this raises the chair 1" in the front. Hope this helps.
Howdy:) I have included a link to the manual for this model, but they recommend TRI FLOW spray lubricant for all moving parts. It is a very good teflon based lube. I know I can't get these back on with normal tools maybe a local tire place could help stretch in back on the rim If not you'll hafta get a new tire sory I can't help anymore than that
Camber and caster settings are off. Have 4 wheel alignment done by a good shop and save your nice tires. Out of alignment will make steering feel heavy and wear tires fast!
You will need to remove the rear tires and front casters. If you look at the front caster fork there should be some extra holes where you can
re-position the caster wheel. Likewise on the hole where the rear tires mounts there should be a hole above it where you can re-mount the tire. So just move the caster and wheel up to the next hole. If there are no holes to move up to then you cant lower the chair. The only other options would be to install a drop seat which you`ll have to purchase from a dealer or install smaller wheels and casters. So, for instance, say you have 8" casters and 24" wheels you would then install 6" casters and 22" wheels. Good Luck and let me know how it turns out.
