Kenmore dishwasher spray arm removal

Kenmore model 665.158999100
I am tring to remove the spray arm to see what is making a humming or grinding noise. The arm has a plastic bolt or type of retainer, I have turned it both ways and it will not unscrew. Is this just a push in type retainer? I dont want to get real tough with it and break something.
